Chapter 10 Part 2 Who to Trust???

Josh's POV

Jayden should be here already. Kacey must of found out that I'm a spy since she was giving me weird glances; while telling her story of being kidnapped. I was shocked when she said she fell off the roof. Soon after she was going to say she heard one if the guys say something weird, the door bell rang. I instantly knew it was Jayden. I insisted to get the door since Mrs.Brooks was about to get up. I finally persuaded her to let me get the door.

I opened the door a little bit, to be secretive and started to make a plan with Jayden.

"Hey man. I think the main people talk to is the daughter and the father." Jayden said.

"Yeah, but can we even trust the father. He works with Mac now." I said.

"True. But I guess we talk to the girl alone. No one can know we are spies."Jayden said.

"Ight. I'll tell them I asked a friend that studying to be a detective to figure this all out." I said.

"Sounds good." Jayden agreed.

Kacey's POV

Josh introduced his friend Jayden to us. He wanted to be a detective; so Josh told him to come and figure this out. My mom and brothers were cool with it, but I knew he wasn't a detective, probably a spy like Josh. I don't know whether or not; to trust Josh or his friend.

Josh told wanted to talk to me alone. And Jayden took my dad outside to talk. I took Josh up to my room, so we could talk privately.

"Kacey. Sit down I have to tell you something no one else can know. I think you already now, but I am not a bad person. I'm the good guy." Josh said slowly.

"You're a spy right. How come these people are after you?" I said trying to put all the pieces together.

Josh looked at me in shock as if I were an alien.

"Ya.. I'm a spy. And I don't know why. All I know is that; this guy Mac Johnson is no good. He wants a hundred thousand dollars or he will continue killing our spies, agents, ninjas, and bosses. I think it's a bluff, because he used to work with us. He wanted to become our boss, more like head leader. He wanted to be the head leader to take over all other agencies in the world. No one knows about us. Not the CSI, FBI, NCIS; ect." Josh explained as easy as he could.

I gave a big breath and sank all the information in.

"Another thing... I don't trust your father just yet. He is still working with the bad guys. Therefore he could report what happens back to them. If your wondering if my best friend is also a spy, he is." Josh said.

"Okay I won't tell my dad the information you told me." I said.

"I'm scared Josh; what if I get kidnapped again?!? And when I was there; I overheard them say 'I will get Josh myself.' You're not safe!!" I cried out.

He pulled me into him. He held me close while I cried in his chest in worry.

He put his chin on top of my head and said, "Shh, everything will be okay. I will protect you. I will be okay; I'm a tough spy. I know how to fight. I could teach you if you want."

I let out a whisper "Okay."

I closed my eyes wishing everything was normal again. My heart beat got softer while Josh held me. He was calm and warm.
