"Girl that's not fair, I'm your grandmother" Cleo told Liyah, starting to argue with her.
She just reached for me and ignored her making me giggle a little more before I picked her up.
"Why are you being mean?" I asked her and she just laid her head on my shoulder.
I shrugged "sorry Cleo, she just wasn't feeling it today I guess" I told her and she nodded.
"It's fine I know how these babies are with their kids swings" she told me while standing from her spot and stretching.
"Okay I gotta beat Aiden to the house before he freaks out because he can't get in" she told us making me nod.
"Okay have a good one" I told her and she nodded before walking out.
As soon as she left Jahseh sighed and sat down on the couch.
"What's wrong?" I asked him, sitting beside him.
"I want Liyah to like me" he told me making me nod.
"Who's to say she doesn't?" I asked him, trying to make him feel better.
"I just feel like she's just now being around me and she doesn't want to" he spoke again making me sigh.
"Jahseh...she's not even one yet stop thinking so hard about it. She just has an attitude problem and always has so it wouldn't matter when you would've came around the begin would be the same" I told him and he nodded.
In the mist of us talking Liyah sat her body on me and her legs were on Jahseh while I made sure she didn't fall. He liked that though, I guess he wanted to feel closer to her.
"When will you bring her back?" He asked me and I shrugged.
"I don't work either job tomorrow but if you're available after 12 pm until 7 the next day then she'll be back" I answered his question and he thought a little.
"I mean if you don't think you can handle it I'll just take her to Stokeley's and you can see her there" I told him and he shook his head.
"I don't want her thinking he's her dad" he admitted making me furrow my eyebrows.
But then I understood because she is around him a lot and not Jahseh so she might recognize him as her father instead.
"I get what you're saying but you might need help sometimes right?" I asked and he nodded.
"No shade to Stokes because I love him but it just can't be him to help" he answered and I nodded.
"I get it."
