I give so many props to Lucy because Liyah ain't lightweight. I was beginning to get frustrated with the crying and learning how she likes things but she's my baby, I'll have to learn through all of her phases of life.
"Okay so you don't like this toy anymore I guess" I sighed as I picked up the toy she'd cried for and then threw back to me once I gave it to her.
I rubbed my head and looked at the time seeing that Lucy should be off work and heading home. I wasn't going to hand her Liyah as soon as she got in but I did need a break at sometime and I'm sure she'd want her anyway.
Liyah continued to cry so I just picked her back up and let her squirm in my hands as I rocked her. She eventually adjusted to it and started to lay still. She played with a button on my T-shirt while she fell asleep.
That was it she was just sleep? All of this time she was doing all of this crying. After she fell asleep I started upstairs to lay her down and Lucy walked in. When she seen that Liyah was sleep her eyes widened.
I smirked and went upstairs to the crib in my room before putting her in it. I made sure to gently sit her before covering her and turning off the light before closing the door.
I walked back downstairs to see Lucy sitting there with her phone in her hand.
"Do you two have fun?" She asked making me sigh.
"You deserve a lot if you go through that everyday" I told her making her giggle.
"What happened?" She asked.
"So at first everything was okay and then she got really mean out of nowhere so I fed her and then she went back to normal."
"Then like 40 minutes later she was crying and I mean like crying so hard that her face was red and she was trying to get a toy off the couch so I gave it to her but then she threw it at me. Eventually she let me put her to sleep" I told her and she nodded.
"So I went through an emotional roller coaster all day."
"Well yeah that's pretty much how she is but her crying was your fault" she told me making me furrow my eyebrows.
"How?" I asked.
"There's a time sheet in her bag" she told me making he tilt my head before picking the bag up to see.
I went through the baby bag and seen it was beside her diapers and I went in to get them like 1,000 times today so how didn't I see this?

I watched as Jahseh unfolded the paper, reading through it before looking over at me with a white people smile.
"Well, I'll know better next time" he joked making me shake my head.
"Alright I'm going to take a shower and get ready for bed" I told him and he nodded.
I went upstairs and into his guest room where my things were making me wonder where Liyah was. I mean Jahseh is smart I hope that he didn't lay her on no regular bed.
I checked the room beside line which was her room but she wasn't in it before going to the room across the hall which smelt like Jahseh so it has to be his room.
It was dark in here so I turned on the light to see a crib sitting beside his bed with Liyah in it. I shrugged and turned the light back off before walking back out.
I got my clothes ready for my shower before getting in, of course being in my thoughts while I was in there.
I wasn't supposed to go to work today I was supposed to go on a date but after Jahseh called wanting Liyah for awhile I decided to pick up a shift that was offered to me after all. I mean I felt like it would be rude of me to leave him with her for the first time for a couple of hours while I was out with some random guy.
After thinking and washing I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself before heading to the guest room.
"Don't be walking around my house naked" Jahseh joked making me turn my head to see him heading to his room.
"Wait until I put some clothes on I got something to say to you" I told him making his eyes widen and he put his hands up before walking into his room.
I got to the guest room and put on coconut oil before putting on my sweatpants and a T-shirt. After that I walked to his room to see him laying on the bed watching tv in the dark.
"That's not fair, you bring Liyah in your room" I told him and he chuckled.
"I never said you couldn't stay in here, you choose to stay over there" he told me and I nodded.
"Respecting boundaries" I told him and he chuckled again.
"You had my baby and you use my shirt as a pajama shirt, I think that there's no boundary on that" he told me making me look down at the shirt I had on.
I was wondering where it came from.
"Shut up" I told him.
He smiled at me and patted a spot beside him before I shrugged and got in the bed.
