Lucy has been sleep for awhile, I guess she's really tired and I mean she does have to go to work later. So I stayed downstairs with Liyah who was falling asleep too.
At first we were watching cartoons together but then she started to rub her eyes and cry. That time I knew what it meant so I rocked her to sleep and continued to hold her downstairs.
I just really want to feel like someone is always on my side and constantly loves me. Me and my mom have had our ups and downs and don't even get me started on my dad. Lucy is really the best thing that ever happened to me, maybe because we were both lonely and relied on each other.
Now we both rely on this little girl and honestly her letting me hold her without her crying was enough happiness for me. She likes me that's all I want from her at this age.
"Everything okay down here?" Lucy asked making me get out of my thoughts and look over at the staircase.
She stretched before walking towards us.
"Yeah everything is fine, she didn't fuss while you slept" I told her and she nodded.
She sat beside me and leaned her head on my shoulder.
"Good" she whispered.
She's definitely still sleepy but I'm not going to say anything.
"Did you have a good nap?" I asked her and she nodded and hummed but didn't move her head.
I nodded too but then didn't say anything else. Soon she was sleep on my shoulder too making me shake my head and chuckle. I knew it, she tried to fight it though.
I picked up my phone and took a picture that only showed the corner of my eye but showed her and Liyah sleeping on me. I would post it somewhere but I don't know what Lucy has going on in her relationship life and I don't want to mess it up for her.
They napped for another hour before Lucy woke back up.
"What time is it?" She asked making me look at my phone.
"It's 2" I told her and she nodded, standing up and stretching.
"I have to be to work at 5" she told me and I nodded.
"Lucy I have a serious question" I told her and she nodded and looked over at me.
"Do you hate me?" I asked and she shrugged.
"Sometimes" she told me making me raise an eyebrow.
"Can you explain?" I asked and she sighed.
"I can't be mad at you anymore because it was the past but it still hurt me and your story doesn't count for anything it didn't make sense and I don't get it but it's over now" she shrugged making me nod.
I couldn't say anything because she was right.
"I'm sorry for hurting you multiple times" I told her and she nodded.
"I accept your apology."
