This was my boring job I just sat here and watched cameras and if somebody did something I told the other security guards on the speaker.
Luckily my phone started ringing.
"Everything okay?" I asked Jahseh.
I mean I did tell him not to call me at work but I'm bored now so I don't mind.
"Yes but she misses you she keep pouting and shit won't even let me pick her up" he told me.
"I'm your dad!" He whisper yelled at Liyah who started to cry.
I started to giggle and requested to FaceTime them.
Jahseh accepted it and when he put his face in the camera his eyebrows were furrowed so hard.
"Calm down she's literally only giving you a hard time because it's your first time watching her without me there, she did the same to Stokeley" I told him and he smacked his teeth.
"Stokeley isn't her dad" he spoke making me nod.
"Hand her the phone" I told him and he nodded, sitting the phone in front her.
She seen me and automatically started to giggle.
"Hey Liyah, stop being bad okay" I told her and she furrowed her eyebrows like Jahseh and started to giggle after.
She too smart for her own good.
"I told you she was just trying to make you mad" I spoke before Jahseh picked the phone back up and shook his head.
"Alright since there's no real issue I'll let you get back to work" he told me and I nodded.
"You guys have fun."
After the phone call it was back to my boring job but luckily the phone call took up enough time that after it I could go on lunch.
Imagine being hungry and bored for no fucking reason, damn this ain't it.
"Hey Lucy you ready to take your lunch?" My manager came in and asked me.
I nodded getting ready to stand up but he continued to talk which made me stop.
"Okay you can go ahead and go home I know you have to take care of Liyah and nothings really happening today we going to shut this room down and reboot it" he told which was even better.
I can leave and not come back? You don't gotta tell me twice.
"Okay, thank you" I told him and he nodded before letting me out of the room.
I tried so hard not to show too much excitement while I walked down to my car but as soon as I got to my car I did a little dance.
After that I went to go get my salad like I always do before driving to Jahseh's house to get Jahliyah. When I got there it was another car, I remember seeing it somewhere I just can't remember where.
I just hopped there wasn't another woman holding my daughter as I knocked on the door, taking a deep breath.
Jah opened the door and sighed "thank god you're here she won't act right for my mom either" he told me making me sigh in mind and giggle out loud.
I walked into the house and followed the angry noises the Liyah was making before getting to her and when she seen me she automatically stopped and started to giggle making me shake my head.
