Season 2, Chapter 2: Studying

At the class.

Nishikata's POV

"Alright class, i already informed you that there will be an upcoming exam two days again, so be sure prepare yourself. Class dismissed." Tanabe-sensei informed us, and i was shocked.

"Huh!? An upcoming exam? Since when there's an upcoming exam!?" I started to freak out while i felt somebody's touching my shoulder.

"Ahaha! Looks like you didn't hear what Sensei says huh? He informed 2 weeks ago!" Takagi said.

"Huh? I totally forgot! What do i do?" I scrambled my head as i put my stuff in my bag.

"Well we could study together if we want." Takagi said.

"Study together?"

"Well, i'm almost prepared for the exam, i could help you!"

"Oh really? Thanks!" I said excitingly.

"Ahaha! Okay, so when?"

As we headed out of the classroom we started chatting about the exam. We're gonna study tomorrow at a library 12 PM all the way until evening, That'll be more than enough, especially when Takagi is a smart-ass. As we walked towards where we seperated she teased me again, and in total about 46 times this day.

"Grrrr! I'll make sure you don't win against me!" I said frustrated.

"Ahaha! I'll be looking forward to it! Bye Nishikata, see you tomorrow!" As she waved goodbye, she threw a kiss from her hand into me.

"AH! TAKAGI!!" I screamed in embaressment

"AHAHA!" She pedaling her bike faster.

Then i walked towards my home, while smiling.

The next day.

Takagi's POV

It was 12 PM and it's time for me to go to the library. As i opened the library door and put off my shoes, i saw Nishikata, who looks like he's having a trouble with the english.

"Yo Nishikata!" I greeted him, which made him surprised.

"Ah! Takagi! Good you're here." He said relived.

"What? Do you think that i'll be late nor coming here?"

"Y-yeah, i also need some help with this stupid question."

"What is it?" I walked closer to him as he pointed me the question. It's second conditional question.

"Oh, second contional? That's tricky."

"I know right!"

"But to me this is easy." I said as i took a seat next to him.

"Huh? But you said it's hard."

"For amateurs." I said smiling.

"So you're mocking me?He said slightly annoyed.

"Ahaha! Here let me help you."

As i took out my pen, he handed me the book and i stared to explain to him.

"Okay. So we use second contidional to talk about an imaginary situations or events and it's result." I explained. "So...what does that mean?" He scrathed his
hin in confusion.

"Let's take an example, what happended if you had a mansion?"

"Well, if i lived a mansion, i would invite all my friends and family, obviously."

"You're already doing it right!" I said excitingly.

"Huh? What do you mean?" He said confused.

"Well, you already used simple past, and would + infinitive verb without 'to'. So you can simply ease this questions!"
