Takagi's POV
We were at the park, playing with our LEGO Technic cars. We made a track of our own.
"Alright! Come and get me!" I tilted around the joystick of my Bugatti LEGO Technic. Along with Nishikata as he also tries to keep up with his Ferrari LEGO Technic.
"Aggh! Come on! Why can't I catch you yet?" He was frustrated, he tried to move his controller side to side. But it'll make it more inevitable as my Bugatti grew more speed.
"And I won!" I said waving my hands in victory.
"Darn it! I lost!" While he fell down on all four in defeat.
"Good game Nishikata." I smiled sweetly at him as he looked at me with a big blush.
"Yeah...you too." He said grabbing his Ferarri.
"Come on, it's getting dark." I said poiting to the sky.
We grabbed our LEGO Cars and walked back home as I held his right hand with my left, and our opposite to held the car and the remote, which is kinda tricky to do.
"Hey...it's kinda hard to hold these. Maybe we should...umm..." Nishikata said as I pouted.
"I wanna hold your hand." I rested my head againts him as he blushed further.
"Oh...okay."
But as we reached the steets, his car started to slip away from him. I can tell with his worried face.
"Is everything alright there?" I said, as he struggles to held his Ferrari.
"Ah! N-nothing! What are you talking about?" But as soon as he finished, his LEGO slipped and fell into the ground, shattering it.
"CRAP!" He yelled, and let go of my hand quickly.
"Oh no! Your LEGO fell." I said as I tried to help him.
But some pieces for the Technic rolls over to the streets. We watched it in horror before Nishikata dashed, trying to get the Technic pieces.
But before he even tried to reached it, a car ran over, and destroyed it.
"NOOOOOO!!! MY LEGOOO!!" He quickly took the pieces as he tried to put it back together in desperation.
"Nishikata...I'm so sorry. I should've let go of your hand..." In guilt I'm afraid to look over Nishikata.
"I-it's fine..." He picked some of the LEGO parts and tossed it onto the nearest trash can.
"But...why do you throw your LEGO?"
"It's useless anyways." He said with a slight sad face.
"I'm so sorry Nishikata."
"I-it's okay."
"You want my LEGO?" I said offering my Bugatti to him.
"What? No! Y-you keep it. I don't really like Bugatti anyways." He put his hand in defense.
"How about...I will pay for your LEGO tomorrow." I said offering again.
"No! You don't have to! I'm...I'm fine." He looked over to the trash bin, giving a desperate and sad look.
"It's fine really. I have allowace."
"No...keep it okay. I don't want any of your offerings. It's my fault because I'm not careful enough..." But I gave him a glare.
"Stop blaming yourself okay!? I hate it!" I yelled at him which taken him back.
"Uhhh....Okay..." He turned his head down, but before I could even think to help him change his mood, it changes drastically as he gave me a smile.
