"Harder Lisa."

Lisa groaned and moved even faster with her hand.

"Is... Is this good?" She panted while beads of sweat started to form on her forehead.

"Yes! Oh god! Its perfect! Keep doing that." Jennie grinned.

After about half a minute Lisa couldn't do it anymore and slowed down, her arm aching from the vigorous use. She panted and let out a groan while rubbing it with her other hand. Jennie chuckled and took the bowl with their vanilla cake mix before stirring it a little bit more.

"You okay Lili?" Jennie giggled. The younger girl just let out a soft groan and shook head. Damn it, her arm hurt.

After Jennie had poured the mix into the heart shaped form and placed it into the preheated oven she handed tho bowl to Lisa, who eagerly started to lick the leftover mix. Jennie giggled and licked the spatula.  "It's good right?"

Lisa hummed and licked her lips as she felt that some of the mix had dripped down onto her chin.

"Which color is this actually?" Lisa mumbled in between licks.

"Whitish" Jennie answers after a few seconds.

"And after it's done baking?"

"Golden brown" The older girl said while talking the now empty bowl from Lisa and started to wash the dishes.

Lisa hummed and staid silent for a bit before questioning, "Just like chocolate?"

Jennie shook her head and smiled, "Nope. It's like... caramel. Do you remember the transfer student that Rosé brought to hang out with us a few times?

Lisa furrowed her eyebrows and tapped with her fingers on the counter, "Shannon?"

Jennie hummed and smiled "Yes, Shannon. It's the same skin color as hers. Ours is more like the cake batter than the cake itself."

Lisa licked her lips at the thought of the cake grinned, "Well If Shannon looks like the cake I am sure that she tastes amazing."

Jennie her eyes widened and she chocked on her saliva which triggered a coughing fit.

"Are you okay Jen?" Lisa asked a bit worried and Jennie nodded rapidly, a small "Yes" getting squeezed in between the coughs.

"So how long will it take for the cake to bake?"

Jennie, who had recovered a bit, looked at the timer and smiled, "Twenty minutes left Lis."

Lisa nodded and laid her head on the table, "So what are we going to do right now?"

Jennie smirked and walked over to her cookie jar, "We can eat a cookie while waiting?"

"Yes! Cookies!" the younger girl cheered and grinned.

Soon enough the two were munching on a red velvet chocolate chip cookie.

When the cake finished backing, Jennie took it out of the oven and let it cool down while she took different colors of fondant and placed them on the table.

"Which colors do we have here?" Lisa  asked as she took one of the lumps and started to kneed it.

"Orange, Yellow and Green, You have yellow in your hands" the older girl answered while taking the orange in her hand and started to mold it in her hand.

The Thai girl nodded and thought for a moment before smiling, "can we make roses? Please?".

Jennie laughed and nodded her head, "Anything you want Lis".

She did a small happy dance before tearing off a piece and molded it a bit before she carefully started making a rose. Jennie smiled in admiration while looking at the girl. Even though she couldn't see she proceeded to make a really good rose.

"You still know how to do it! I'm proud of you Lisa" Jennie grinned. Lisa smiled and nodded, "yes. I do. I may not remember it through seeing but I do remember it by touch. My fingers are still able to make them."

Jennie got on her tiptoes and kissed the younger girls cheek before they continued to make small flowers.

"We don't have red here, right?" Lisa suddenly spoke up.

"No, why?" Jennie questioned.

"Well, I've only really heard about red roses. Why are we making yellow, green and orange roses?"

The older girl smiled slightly "There are different colors roses Lis. Why you hear about red roses the most is because people find it really romantic."

"But why?"

Jennie bit her lip and thought for a second.

"I think because your blood has the same color. Blood is red... And your heart is the organ that pumps blood through your whole body, which gives you the ability to live. When you see drawings of your heart its often colored red. I think that red is just... It symbolizes love because love gives you live. Without love you wouldn't live. Yes, maybe you would breath but that's all you would do. You'd be an empty soul wandering around. If you don't feel love, or if you aren't loved, doesn't matter if its in a romantic way or not, you don't feel alive. Trust me. But if you're loved you start to recognize the small things. You feel content, feel happy. You feel alive. And technically blood is one of the main reasons you're alive. So I think that the two are linked in that way...."

She took all the roses they made and started to arrange them on the cake as she had already spread out some buttercream.

After processing everything in her head Lisa slowly nodded. "Damn..." She mumbled, "that was deep."

Jennie chuckled "I don't even know if it makes any sense..."

After a few more minutes they finally finished and Jennie hugged Lisa tightly. "We did it Lis!"

The Thai girl hummed and hugged her back. "We did."

Jennie was quick to take a picture and send it to Rosé and Jisoo.

Practically seconds later she got a reply from Chaeyoung saying that she was already on her way over and Jisoo said that she'd be there in fifteen minutes.

Jennie laughed and sad down next to Lisa on a chair, "The others are going to be here in a bit. Are you willing to wait?"

Lisa nodded and smiled at the thought of her friends all being there, "Of course! Tell them to hurry up. I've missed them."

Jennie chuckled and quickly send Lisa's words to the girl.

"Now it's waiting time. What do you thing about moving to the couch?"
