Are these the green pills I need to use before bed time, Jennie?" Lisa asked, shaking a bottle in her hand. The two of them just got back from the doctor because the Thai girl had been feeling a little sick. Her parents had been busy with work so Jennie volunteered to bring her. 

"These," Jennie said, taking the slim bottle from her friend's hand "are the white pills you need to use before you go eat something."

Lisa picked up the other small bottle and shook it. "So these are the green pills?" She asked, holding up the bottle.

"Yup! They are."

"But how will I know which pill is in each bottle?" She asked, knowing that the two felt the same way. "They have the same shape and even the pills are both flat and round."

Jennie thought for a moment before grinning. "Wait here."

Before Lisa could question the older girl, she already disappeared.

"White pills and green pills." Lisa mumbled. "White is as white as white, and green is as green as green..."

Jennie walked back with a scrunchie in her hand and let Lisa feel it.

"A hair tie?" The younger girl questioned after a split second. What would a scrunchie have to do with her pills?

"Yes, a scruncie. I'm going to wrap this around your bottle of green pills so you know which on contains the green pills. The bottle without the scrunchie around it are the white pills."

Lisa gasped and pulled Jennie into a tight hug.

"Thank you Nini!" She said before getting up, feeling where here friends cheek was, and kissed it.

"I love you!" She younger girl said with a huge grin on her face.

"Love you too cutie."

"You're so smart Nini." She grinned and plopped back into her bed.

"I know hun, I know." Jennie laughed and ruffled the younger girls hair, making her groan in displeasure. "Nini nooo! You know I don't like that."

"But you look so cute with your messy hair... I can't help it Lis."

The younger girl reached for the pillow next to her and hit her friends leg with it, making the older girl laugh even more.

"Okay okay I repent! Let me brush your hair for you okay? I'm sorry for messing it up."

Lisa grinned in victory and threw her hand in the air, almost punching Jennie in the face, and let out a squeal of happiness. Jennie flinched back and let out a slight chuckle when she realized that the girl had no clue that she almost hit her.

She walked over to her friends dresser and pulled out a brush and two thin hair ties, before getting back and sitting besides her friend.  "Two braids or just brushed out?" Jennie questioned making Lisa ponder for a bit.

"Braids please... They feel nicer." Lisa eventually chose and moved so she sat correctly.

The older girl started to brush her friends hair, softly humming a tune.

"Why do pills actually have colors? They aren't candies." The blind girl suddenly spoke up.

"Well... I think that it would be more... It would be easier to know which pill is which one. It's easier for people to take them that way. If all your pills would be white it would be confusing. Plus boring. If they have different colors its easier to separate them. There are a lot of white pills though. So I'm not sure."

Lisa nodded slightlt, "smart..." She mumbled.

Jennie finished out brushing the girls hair and parted it before starting to braid it.

"All I can do is taste them though. And it sucks because most pills all slightly taste the same. Bitter." She pouted.

Jennie chuckled "That's why lemonade exists Lis."

Lisa hummed. "Talking about the lemonade in my bottle. Which color is that again?"

"Red. It's strawberry, remember?" Jennie said before finishing the braids.

'Thank you Nini! You're the best." Lisa grinned and made a heart with her fingers before holding it up for Jennie to see.

Jennie leaned over and placed a kiss on her friends fingers, "thank you for the heart Lis. Now drink up your pill."  

"Oh. Yes. I forgot. Strawberry." She laughed, and Jennie handed her one of the green pills and her bottle. Lisa accepted it and placed the pill on her tongue before quickly unscrewing the cap and drank the liquid, her pill getting swallowed with it.

She scrunched up her face in disgust and made a gauging noice.  "That tasted horrible..." She mumbled and quickly drank some more.

"I can imagine yeah." Jennie laughed, "but I should be going Lis. My parents need me home because it's late already. You think you can manage?" She kissed the girls cheek and got up.

"I love you Jennie. And ofcourse I can. I don't need to wait for my parents to be home to fall asleep." Lisa said and smiled before waving.

"I love you too pokpak. And alright. I will send you a message once I got home alright?" The older girl said while packing her things.

"Okay Nini... See you tomorrow?" Lisa questioned with a hope filled voice.

"Of course Lis. And don't forget to brush your teeth." Jennie smiled and kissed her friends cheek again before leaving. But not without wishing her a good night.

Lisa smiled and put her now empty bottle to the side before laying down on her bed and took a stuffed animal in her arms, feeling the soft fur. She pulled her blanket from the side and slowly slipped under it.

"I will brush my teeth tomorrow morning... she won't know." The Thai girl chuckled to herself before yawning and snuggled the stuffed animal even more

"I have amazing friends...." She whispered to herself before drifting into a slumber.
