Diamond's POV

"Hey Diamond," one of the people in the store said. "Can you help me on isle 3."

"Yes ma'am." I leave from behind the counter to assist the short lady. She leads me to where she needs help and asks "Which one should I get? Dooney and Burke or Michael Khors?"

I considered the woman's outfit and went with the Michael Khors. "You're welcome ma'am."

"You look familiar to me." The lady says. "I can't put my finger on it." I smiled at her.
"And you're so beautiful." As I rang her things up, she was still trying to figure out where she knew me from. When she left, the day went on and on.

Now I'm on my lunch break. I decide to get Raising Canes. The three piece combo with extra toast. I don't know about y'all, but I'll buy 10 pieces of toast and rate it later. As I'm heading out the door, this fine ass man bumps into me, but I keep my head down and leave. The guy smelled so fucking sexy.

Glancing back, he's still looking at me, but I quickly drive away. I have my aux cord in. As I'm driving, Sam Smith starts playing. " Too Good At Goodbyes." I was hitting every now just right. To his song I'm not the only one, too, I am feeling it.

After eating, I head back to work.

I'm thankful that I don't have any homework tonight. 8 can chill and be with bae (Wattpad). My kitten meows when I walk in. I feel her and give her fresh water as I head upstairs to change into more comfy clothes.

A knock sounds at my door. My kitten purs, so I answer it. It's the guy from earlier, what the hell?

"Hi..." He says.

Damn, I just changed clothes.

Jamal's POV

As I look at the beautiful woman in from of me, my mouth goes dry as all I can say is "Hi..."

Pull it together Jamal! I extend my hand to her and introduce myself. I feel like I know her from somewhere, she definitely isn't one of my mom's young friends.

She cleared her throat, finally inviting me in.

Her kitten is so adorable. I say aww.

"Would you like some water?" She asked. Her voice sounded hoarse itself when she asked.
Licking my lips, I say " Yes. Thanks."

"She picks her kitten up, and sure down in front of me. Damn, she so fucking thick. I think in my head. I'm kinda afraid to ask if she's who I think she is, so I so my water and just admire her beauty. If she is who I'm thinking, Lord...

"My name is Jamal," I finally say, reaching to shake her hand.

Her eyes get wide as hell, but I don't think she knows I noticed.

"I- I'm... Diamond." She studdered.

"Babygirl, I can fix the studdering for you. I know you don't studder." Her eyes flicked to me and I just smile.

She smiles as well. At this point I'm wondering what's going through her mind.

I'm so fucking happy I finally found my bestfriend. It surely has been a long time....

Diamond's POV

Damn... I think as long him over. He's a fucking man now. I look him over and start the conversation, not jumping into how comment about my studdering.

We just spend the rest of the day talking and catching up. He offered to take me to lunch tomorrow and I agree.

I was right when I thought about how his appearance in now.

He hugs me so tight before he left. I felt like he was trying to rub himself on me. He gives the best hugs. As I close the door, I'm smiling so damn hard, my checks hurt. My kitten meows, so I turn to her and say "New flash, he belongs to me."

I walk up the stairs and climb into bed, drifting into dreams about him...

Jamal's POV

I get home and prepare for a cold shower. I smile as I think of all the good times we are going to have from now on. If she doesn't know how beautiful she is, I'm going to make it my fucking mission to tell her. After the shower, I dry off, and climb into bed.
