Lester's POV

Jessica's family wants to meet me! I'm freaking out right now!

Any suggestions on meeting your lady's relatives?

Joymya taps my leg, so I inhale and exhale. Anne smiles and runs away towards her brother.

I see Jessica and Diamond sitting on the porch, but I play with the kids.

"Lester!" Jamal calls. "Ride to the store with me."

I ask Jessica if she needs anything. She whispers in my ear "C. O. N. D. O. M. S."

I blush and say "Bet". Jamal and I leave.

"Why are you red in the face?" Her asked.

I smile and just lay back and enjoy the ride.

"Why are we at a jewelry store, Jamal?"

"You need a ring. I see the way you two look at each other."

"What if it's not the right time? I haven't even met her family yet. "

"Just wait for it, brother." He says. "Now pick a ring before I choose for you." We're walking around and looking in the cases.

"Bingo!" I found one I like and I think she'd like.

"Jamal. I've found it!"

"Get it. I'll pay for it." Jamal pulls out his wallet.

"No. I won't let you do that."

"Yes, you will. You're broke. This is for keeping my family safe and helping me." He says.

We look at each otherand call the store cashier.

Jamal waits at the counter while I talk to the cashier.

Jamal's POV

Lester comes to the counter with the cashier and I pay for the ring.

"Thanks, man." He says.

"Hush. Now go get them condoms." He looks shocked at me and I just shake my head. "Go."

After he gets in the car I ask if he needs to go anywhere else.

"No."

Diamond's POV

"Hey baby daddy."

"Woman! You better be glad we got company!" Damn his country accent.

"The kids are looking for you. They're playing hide and seek, pretending they're looking for you."

Jamal smiles and pecks my lips before running off to play with the kids.

"You two are something else." Jessica says when I sit down.

"I can say the same for you and Lester."

"We're cool."

I chuckle and watch Joymya scream "HE'S COMING! RUN!"
