The Funeral

Diamond's POV

Today is the day that I see my best friend, my husband, my Chocolate Bear, and the love of my life for the last time. We've decided to have an open casket. As the family was in Ms. Michelle is crying and so is Joymya. I try not to, but just looking at them and everyone that came, I can't help it.

Joymya rubs my stomach. I get up and walk fast to the bathroom. I throw up, but make it in time before the funeral actually starts.

My mom holds my hand to reassure me that things are gonna be okay. Joymya wrote a poem for Jamal. When is her time to go speak, she looks at Jamal face and kisses him before starting.

Joymya's POV

I wrote a poem for Daddy. After my poem, Mommy goes to the bathroom, crying.

"I miss you, Daddy." I say walking by the casket. Grandma his me as she cries.

"I gotta go to Mommy." I say walking to the bathrooms. Mommy is in the first stall, throwing up.

"Thank you, Princess."

"Mommy, Daddy says it's okay."

Diamond's POV

I look at Joymya and smile weakly. I get up, but she says to stay on the floor. I'm glad, because I threw up again.

After that, Joy sits on the floor with me to run my back and stomach.
"You guys are making Mommy sick, can you stop it?" Joymya says with her hands on her hips. I shake my head, laughing.

"I'm hungry now, kiddo. How about we go out and make your dad proud?"

Joymya stands up then helps me. "I agree."

We leave the bathroom.

"It's about time!" My mom says. "You guys want to see him, before he's buried?"

"Let's go kiddo." Joy and I stand in front of the casket. I lean down and kiss Jamal's lips before saying" I will always love you. Be good in heaven. See you when I get there."

I pick Joymya up so she could get a full view. "Love you Daddy." She hugs him and kiss him.

After the funeral, Joy and I stop at Sonic before going to the burial site. As I'm getting out, the little one inside me kicks and turns over. I guess you know what's happening too. I think. I feel this sharp pain and then scream.

My water broke. Joymya is crying now. My mom and dad rush to me and I black out after that.

Joymya's POV

Great. I kids Daddy's casket and rush to Mommy. I get in the car and cry. She's crying.

"What's wrong with Mommy?"

"She's in labor." Uh oh. That doesn't sound nice at all. I fall asleep.

I wake up in the hospital beside Mom. I rub her stomach, but there's no bump anymore. What happened!!!???
