"DID YOU SEE THE PROPHET?" ASKED LILY EVANS. She seemed incredibly distressed, which worried Estella beyond belief.
"I just got in here, Lils,"Estella told her sleepily,"I haven't even had my tea and you're worried about the bloody morning paper."
"Somebody is cranky,"Peter teased with a big laugh.
Lily shook her head,"This isn't the time for joking. This is serious."
"Actually, that's me,"Sirius replied as he sat beside Lily at the table, taking the Prophet from her hands. As he read the headline, a frown formed upon his face."Oh Merlin, this is bad."
"We've all heard the rumors, right? A dark wizard on the rise,"Lily breathed, visibly trembling. James put an arm around her in comfort.
"We won't let anything happen to you, Lily,"James assured her, letting the redhead lean into him.
Estella snatched the paper from Sirius' hands, eyes darting across the whole article. It was horrid. The Prophet elaborated on various deaths of muggles and muggleborns. Families that had been slaughtered by this dark lord, Voldermort. Just the name sent chills down her neck.
"This is..."Estella trailer off,"Merlin, how did this happen? Who let this terrible man come to power? Shouldn't the minister be doing something about this?"
"Everyone knows the government is corrupt,"Sirius reported,"The Ministry isn't going to touch him."
"Then I guess it's left us,"Marlene offered, taking a seat beside Sirius.
"What are we going to do about it?"Peter questioned, not believing her at first,"What can a bunch of teenagers do against real evil?"
"A lot, if you're willing,"Marlene grinned,"A bunch of fighters are getting together to bring about an Order and bring the wizarding world back from the ashes. It's called the Order of the Phoenix. You can try to kill it, but the rebellion never truly dies."
"I'm in,"Sirius smirked at her.
"Sirius, you know nothing about the Order."
"It's been going on for awhile from what I've gathered,"Marlene told them,"But they are recruiting. People like us, we could make a difference out there. We could fight."
"I want to fight,"Estella blurted out,"I want to make a difference like that. If you want people to join, count me in."
"Really?"Peter asked,"Two years ago, you would have never been up for that. I'm proud of you, Stellar."
"Thanks, Wormy," Estella smiled, leaning her head on Remus' shoulder."What about you, Moons?"
"No one will ever trust me to protect anyone,"Remus admitted, sighing out deeply.
"Don't be absurd, Remus,"Marlene told him,"You deal with these idiots on a daily base, that's more dangerous than a war. You are one of the bravest people I know. This war needs you. I trust you with my life. We all do."
