THE SUMMER OF 1978 WAS A SUMMER OF LOVE. It was could be said that it was the calm before a tragic storm. The war had intensified since the Marauders had graduated, but they didn't let the dark times come in the way of their happy days.

Edward Bennett had not left his daughter's side since she had woken up. In fact, Edward had woken her up with a wonderful breakfast that he definitely did not make. Estella was actually pretty sure Remus had made it since him and Lyall were staying at the Bennett home for the wedding.

"Morning, Princess," Edward grinned with his ray of breakfast.

"Dad?" The sleepy witch murmured in confusion.

"I know, I've woken you up early, but I thought we could have breakfast together before Lily and Marlene arrive to help you get ready."

Despite how tired she was, Estella couldn't help but smile. It was incredibly sweet that her dad wanted some time for just them.

"I love that idea,"Estella mumbles, rubbing her eyes as she looked down at the tray of food."You didn't make this."

Edward let out a loud laugh and nodded,"No, I did not, but lucky for you, your fiancé is a fine cook. And he wanted me to make sure you knew he did cook the meat like you like it."

"He always makes it so rare."

"Is that a werewolf thing?" Edward asked curiously. It was still odd to have this conversation with her father. Since Remus came clean about what he was, Edward had been extremely open-minded and curious about his condition. He still loved Remus like a son, but he had a lot of questions.

"Yes,"Estella asked,"But I don't mind my meat being rare so much anymore."

"I guess that part of the scratch."

"I can't tell him that, though."

"I have a feeling that would upset him,"Edward agreed,"Eat, Ella."

"Who all has arrived?" Estella asked as she took a bite of her dad's famous, but mediocre, blueberry pancakes.

"Theodore and Louis just arrived. Teddy is itching to see you. He wants to help with your hair. I believe he and Lily are arguing over it."

"There isn't much they can do with my hair..."Estella murmured.

"That's what James told them."

"Is he stressing?" Estella asked.

James Potter has taken on a lot of responsibility. He was not only the Best Man, but he had helped Estella plan the whole bloody wedding instead hiring a professional planner. Everything she or Remus needed, James took care of it.

"He was yelling at the florist early this morning. Euphemia said he'd been up since four a.m.,"Edward told her with a fond smile."That boy had always care about you."
