Bryan and Helpy walk through the woods, trying to locate the so-called "Tweedle-Twins", so they can help with the queen.
"So these Tweedle Twins, they have been theorizing how to talk to the queen without dying?" Bryan asks.
"Pretty much," Helpy replies. "Don't worry though, they'll for sure help us out. They'll take any chance they get to test out their conspiracies."
The two continue to walk past the trees searching for the twins when suddenly, Bryan feels something grab him and lift him up the tree.
"Woah! HELPY!" Bryan cries as he's pulled up it.
"What the-" Helpy says as she turns around quickly. "Oh. Dum?" Helpy asks in an annoyed tone as she looks up at Bryan.
"Did you just call me-" Bryan questions Helpy's words until a familiar face next to him on the branch he's sitting on speaks.
"Hey, Helpy. What's up?" The voice says. The sudden voice next to Bryan makes him fall back in surprise but then is grabbed by it.
"L-Lefty?" Bryan says in surprise as he's dangling off the branch.
"Who? My name isn't Lefty, friend-o. You can call me Tweedle Dum, Dum for short," Dum says as he lifts Bryan back onto the branch.
"Can you guys just come down here?" Helpy asks.
"Oh. Sure thing," Lefty replies as he grabs Bryan and jumps down. Bryan yelps in surprise as they jump down.
"Why'd you even take him up there in the first place?" Helpy asks.
"I wanted to get a better look at the new guy," Dum responds.
"Hold up...you know I'm not from here?" Bryan questions.
"Sure I do. It's written all over you," Dum says cheerfully.
"What?" Bryan asks as he glances at himself.
"Duh. You're the only one who looks more human-like than all of us," Dum states.
Bryan then looks at Dum and Helpy thoroughly.
"Oh yeah. How did I not notice how humanoid you guys look?" Bryan asks himself.
"What are you talking about? We always looked like this," Helpy says confused.
"Well, I- you know what, nevermind," Bryan dismisses. "Anyways, you're one of the Tweedle Twins, right?"
"That's me!" Dum replies, optimistically. "You can call me Tweedle Dum. Dum for short,"
"Uh yeah. You told me," Bryan states.
Then, out of nowhere, a loud voice behind Helpy screams her name.
"HELPY!!!" The voice says. Helpy screams and jumps into Bryan's arms in fright.
"Dee!" Helpy cries in anger.
Bryan sees the one who scared Helpy and realizes that she looks just like Happy Frog.
"Sorry. I just haven't seen you in ages! How have you been?" Dee asks.
"We literally talked yesterday," Helpy points out as she hops onto the ground again.
"Hey, Dee! We've got ourselves an Alice!" Dum says in glee as he puts his arm around Bryan.
"OH MY GOD! We haven't had an Alice since last week!" Dee squeals.
"No, Dee. We haven't had one in years. Decades even," Helpy corrects.
"Decades? How old even are you guys?" Bryan asks.
"We have no idea. I guess we just assume how long it's been since time had stopped. Time is now stuck at 6 pm. Thanks to the dumb curse," Helpy replies.
"I-I'm sorry, did you just say cur-" Bryan tries to ask in disbelief of what his friend just said but gets cut off by Tweedle Dee.
"So what are you two doing here? Are you in need of our assistance?" Dee asks.
"Actually, yes. We want to get to the queen so I can ask her if I can leave Wonderland," Bryan explains.
"Leave Wonderland? What kind of insane person would want to leave such a beautiful place?" Dum asks in confusion.
"You guys only think that because you've gotten used to this place ever since you've fallen," Helpy says.
"Wait, you both were Alices before?" Bryan questions.
"Yep. Why do you think we're theorizing how to talk to the queen without getting on her bad side?" Tweedle Dee asks.
"Yeah...they've been theorizing for ages now. All the conspiracies they came up with managed to drive them insane without them even realizing it," Helpy whispers to Bryan.
"I thought you said we couldn't trust any past newcomers," Bryan subtly says to Helpy.
"These are different. None of the other past Alices are theorizing like the Tweedle Twins. Besides, the only thing on their mind is conspiracies. They don't have time to feel envious. If anything, they think they're above everybody when it comes to their theories. They see themselves as future heroes of Wonderland," Helpy explains.
"Oh. I guess I understand," Bryan says.
"I'm glad you're being wary, but I know Wonderland and it's inhabitance better than you do. So if I say somebody can be trusted, just take my word for it," Helpy states.
"Ok, jeez," Bryan replies.
"What you guys whispering about over there?" Dee questions.
"Oh. Nothing important. Don't worry," Bryan responds.
"Anyway, we need your help with the queen. Bryce over here wants to leave so he can go back to his home," Helpy says.
"My name is Bryan," Bryan corrects.
"Can you guys come with us to the Queen's palace so we can convince her to let him go?" Helpy asks.
"Hmm. That seems like a big ask, but I'm sure with our brilliant theories and thoughts we'll be able to convince her without ultimately losing our lives," Dum states.
"Really? Thanks so much. I'm very grateful that you're willing to do this for us," Bryan speaks gleefully.
"It's no problem. We should be thanking you for coming to us with this. We would never have had the opportunity to test out our conspiracies," Dee replies.
"Come on, enough chit-chat. We should be making our way towards the palace," Helpy says, pushing everyone forward. "We aren't gonna talk to the queen by just standing around here,"
"I wouldn't talk to the queen, period," A mysterious voice in the trees say.
The others look around, startled by the sudden voice.
"Uh...hello? Who said that?" Bryan asks.
"Oh no...not him again," Dum says, nervously.
"Who are you talking about?" Bryan questions.
"He's talking about me," The voice says on a tree branch behind Bryan
Bryan quickly turns around and sees who the voice really was.
"I thought that voice sounded familiar," Bryan says, anxiously.
