Dark eyes hiding a hint of ashen blue stares downwards at the notebook resting open in his lap.
The exceptionally neat handwriting for such a young age is viewed upon casually in the child's eyes.
Even though the boy knows that the handwriting would receive multiple compliments the words written can never ever be seen by anyone else but himself.Operation: MOM

Why perfect candidate to be mama: Wei Gege is always smiling.
Wei Gege is always happy.
Wei Gege makes super cute bunny cookies just for me.
Wei Gege joke and laugh a lot but is very smart.
Wei Gege is pretty and will look nice next to papa.Lan Sizhui nods satisfied at his checklist.
It has taken him a month to get this far and soon he needs to make up a plan to make his parents meet.
Lan Sizhui has been worried for his papa, he is very handsome, works really hard and even though he is quite quiet he is also very kind, that's why it's confusing he still has no wife and Lan Sizhui worry his papa might feel lonely. It made the child work extra hard to show his affection, he wants his papa to know that he isn't alone, it has been his mission for a long time and then he met a certain someone.
This man was like a miracle showing up at the perfect time and only he can be his mama and his papa's wife.*Flashback of that faithful day*
Lan sizhui looks at his friend covering his bleeding nose after he accidentally suckerpunched him.
"I'm sorry about your nose, we should practice defense next time."
Lan Sizhui offers as a way to make the crying boy focus on something else.
The entire time they wait for his parents Lan Sizhui remains a calm front but on the inside he slightly panics realizing he will miss his bus.
While he really wants to run and try to make it no matter the odds he simply cannot bring himself running away and not take responsibility for hurting his sparring partner.
What sort of sportsmanship would that be, his father would be more disappointed he left an injured friend than missing the bus.
So setting his mind to stay he does just that and only rushes to change after his friend leaves the dojo.Changing quickly Lan Sizhui feels slightly conflicted he has two options, either he calls his father, explain the situation and have the bodyguard pretending to be a driver pick him up, which will result in him never being allowed to take the bus alone again.
Lan Sizhui visibly frowns at this option, he can't lose this victory because of one incident. He worked so hard in proving himself ready for this commitment, if his papa find out he will never give him any unsupervised responsibility ever again. So that leads to the second option, walk to the station and take another bus home.
He could easily make a small lie that he didn't walk alone to the station and that he just practiced a little extra at the dojo.
There's no point in even paying a thought to it since the boy already has made up his mind.Lan Sizhui walks slightly quickly paced towards the closest station but never fails in paying attention to his surroundings.
Wanting to ignore the discomfort that has been lingering he cannot bring himself to anymore and takes a quick and discreet peek at the man following him.
For the past five minutes the male has kept a close distance and Lan Sizhui can't excuse the fear anymore so without hesitation he enters the closest Café.
The bell above the glass door leaves a pleasant sound as he makes an entrance."Aiyo~ Little boy are you lost? Do you need any help?"
There he stands, the huge toothy grin is the first to greet him and it never falter on the handsome face, the image slowly prints itself into Lan Sizhui's memory as he can't bring himself to stop staring.
The cute baby pink apron decorated with one black and one white bunny on the front is the next thing to steal his attention.
That is until a goofy giggle forces him to make eye contact with the person.
He can tell those dark grey eyes subtly looks him over, most likely trying to figure out his age."I'm Wei Wuxian, I own this café do you need any help?"
Lan Sizhui realize he must have been looking distressed and he blushes slightly embarrassed.
Even though he suspected being followed, wouldn't it be too embarrassing to share that speculation without any proof.
While his mind is in slight distress the boy still show no signs of the internal struggle whatsoever and only stare into those gentle looking eyes directed at him."My dad says I shouldn't talk to strangers."
Wei Wuxian looks a bit taken aback with his raised eyebrows but his expression quickly switches to a prideful grin as he ruffles the boys neatly half tied up shoulder length black hair.
Lan Sizhui stands frozen in place, only his papa would dare ruffle his hair like this and only his papa was allowed to but for some weird reason he doesn't feel appalled."Your dad is right, you're a good boy!"
Wei Wuxian responds with a warm smile and retracts his hand, his posture changes to him crossing his arms and Lan Sizhui follow every movement with his eyes unblinking.
The boy starts to feel an interest for the man looking to be in deep thought as he brushes a finger over his nose, what seems to be a habit.
How peculiar Lan Sizhui usually don't find any interest in anyone really, but this Wei Wuxian for some reason stole his curiosity in matter of seconds."Hmm, I guess we have to become unstrangers then!"
Wei Wuxian exclaim cheerfully while he grins wider at the little boy staring back at him with raised eyebrows.
'How peculiar indeed.'
