Uraraka pov:
She continued dragging me out of the room and down the hall. When she let go of my wrist, we were in some sort of bedroom. It's nicely decorated and a lot like the room I slept in. I look around the room. It seems, surprisingly normal. Stuffed animals covered the bed and posters the wall. The only pieces of furniture is the bed, a dresser, and a desk. It feels...cozy and comfortable. Its definitely enough to make you forget your in a villain hideout. "Is this your room?" I ask curiously. She nods enthusiastically. "Yep! you like it?!" she asks excitably. I let out a giggle at her excitement. I nod. "Yeah, I guess I just didn't expect it to be this...normal. Its cute though! I guess I was just expecting something more...villainous?" I respond, my cheeks slightly red from embarrassment. Her face drops a little bit and she giggles. "Um, yeah, lots of people would assume that. The most 'villainous' thing I keep in here is my knives though and I hide them away in that drawer. Villainy isn't my whole life, yknow." She replies, gesturing to one of her dresser drawers. I nod. "I know, It's just difficult to not think of you that way, I guess. Especially considering that's kinda what I was taught. But all that means is we just have to get to know each other better!" I say. She nods excitedly. "Right! So what do you do at sleepovers?" she asks. "Usually, we play games like truth or dare, watch a movie together, and stay up talking all night. Oh, and there's always snacks involved!" I answer, thinking of my sleepovers with the girls in class 1a. "Really?! That sounds so FUN!! Let's do it!!" She says, her face lighting up. I let out another giggle. "Yeah, ok. Let's start with truth or dare!" I say. She smiles and sits in her office chair, peaking her head over the back and resting her chin on it. "Ok, So how does this work? I've never really...played truth or dare before." she asks. "Really? Never?" I ask. She shakes her head. "Really? You sure? What about...20 questions? Ever played that?" I ask. "Nope, I never had any friends to play with." She says. I nod slowly, feeling sympathetic. "Mm, well I always found 20 questions more interesting, so lets play that!" I suggest. "Ok! How do we play?" She asks. "So, basically, one of us thinks of an object and the other person gets to ask 20 yes or no questions about the object that the person has to answer, to try and guess what the object is." I explain. Her face morphs into a small frown. "Oh, I thought it meant we got to ask each other a bunch of questions." She says. "I mean, we can do that instead, If you want." I reply. Her face lights up again. "Nope! I have a better idea! You said sleepovers involve snacks, right?" she asks. "Yeah, why?" I ask. "Follow me! We're leaving the hideout! We just have to sneak past Shiggy and Mamagiri." she says. I eye her quizzically. "Why are we leaving? And why do we have to sneak past them? Aren't you allowed out late at night?" I ask. She giggles. "We're leaving to get snacks silly! And of course I'm allowed! We're sneaking out because you're with me! And it would be so boring if I just left you here!" She responds, bubbly as ever. "..Ok. How will we sneak past them?" I ask. "Hm... Well I don't actually think Shiggy is there, I think he's in the basement with Dabi. Mamagiri's probably cleaning glasses at the bar though, so we'll have to sneak past him." She replies. I think about what she said in my head, at first trying to come up with a plan and then realizing something else. I pause. "Wait...Mamagiri?" I ask. She looks like she was also thinking. She snaps her head up to look at me. She lets out a small laugh. "Oh, yeah. Ok, um...how do I explain this...The whole league basically considers ourselves a whole, big, weird, distant, family. Like, Shiggy, Dabi and Twice are my older brothers! Shiggy's Shigaraki by the way. Anyways, So Mamagiri became like our...parent? I guess we should call him a dad, but he doesn't seem to mind mamagiri. His actual name is Kurogiri. He's like all misty. And he's got an awesome quirk! His portals get us everywhere! He's really cool! A really great parent to us, too! 'cept when he grounds me. Anyway, we're all basically here because our families and everyone else rejected us, so we made a family of our own. We actually, probably wouldn't be doing anything illegal if it weren't for the boss. We follow orders from him because we all owe him for taking us in!" She rambles. Now that she mentions him, I remember Kurogiri from the villain attack. Although, we usually just called him portal guy. I think for a moment, a frown crossing my features. "...Rejected?" I ask, Not trying to push or ruin her mood, but genuinely curious. She nods. "Mhm! But its ok, because you're going to be my very first friend!" She beams. It wasn't really what I was looking for when I asked that, but I'm not disappointed. It actually makes me happy how excited she is about being friends with me. Her personality makes me completely forget shes a villain. Apparently not by choice though. I'll have to remember that."Yeah! I'll be a really great one too! I promise!" I respond, a smile making its way onto my face. "Yes! ...Ok, so I think if I can get twice to distract Mamagiri, we can pull this off! We just gotta be quick on our way out so he doesn't see you." She says. I nod. "Twice's room is like a room or two away! I'll go ask him!" She says, skipping towards the door. She returns a few minutes later, still skipping happily. "He said he'll help! He's gonna go down there and break things! Kurogiri hates that! So yeah, as soon as we hear things breaking we can run." She informs excitedly. I nod. "Alright!" I say in return. Soon enough we heard what sounded like glass breaking, as well as Kurogiri scolding Twice. Before I could react though, Toga grabbed my hand and ran down the stairs and out the door, with me trailing behind her. Once we were outside the door she looked at me and smiled. She finishes huffing. "This is so exciting!" She says. Before I could respond though, she speaks again. "Oh! I almost forgot! Stay right there!" She says. I nod once and she runs to the door, opening it and screaming a quick "I'm going out for a walk!" and shutting the door before a response could be heard. She runs back over to me. "Sorry, about that. Mamagiri gets really upset when I don't tell him where I'm going." She says. We start walking. I let a small giggle escape my lips. "Yknow, I think it's sweet how much he cares for you. How much they all do. You guys really don't feel like a league of villains. You're more like a family!" I say, speaking my mind. She lets a giggle out too. "Yeah, well none of us really wanna be doing anything bad or illegal. Like I said before, We owe our boss and that's why we do things. And-! We aren't bad people either, were actually really nice! The 'big bad villain' act is just something we do when were supposed to, yknow when boss tells us too!" She explains, seemingly making sure I don't have a negative view on her or her 'family'. "Yeah, I know! You told me that! I can clearly tell you aren't bad, I don't think badly of you or your family as people at all. I think the things you did were bad, but you're not. Especially if you were just following orders. Speaking of which, can I ask who your boss is?" I say, in an honest ramble. "Um, I mean, I guess you could ask, but I can't tell you. I'd be in SO much trouble, With Mamagiri AND boss!" She says. "That's fine, I was just curious. Where are we going anyway?" I ask. She doesn't answer so I look over at her. She suddenly grabs my hand and runs, dragging me until were in front of a convenient store. "Here." She says. I turn to look at her, as she hasn't made a move to go inside yet. "Wait...I don't know if I have money... Do you have any on you?" She asks. I shake my head. "I...uh...I don't usually...carry cash on me. My family's really poor so...we don't have a lot of money to spare. W-we have a house though! We're that fortunate! That's...um...actually why I want to be a hero...to make money for my family." I explain, My face red with embarrassment. I turn to look at her again, as I was looking away before, and she's looking at me in awe. "That's...so awesome! I never knew that! It's so nice of you to do that for your family! See? We're getting to know each other better already!" She says, her eyes sparkling. "Yeah! So, you don't have money?" I ask, wanting the attention off me. "Hm...Let me check." She says, checking both the pockets in her tan colored sweater, before slipping her hand under the fabric of her left knee high sock and fishing out $30. "Here! Found some! Let's go get snacks!" She says. I nod in response and let her drag me inside. "What kind of snacks do you want?" she asks. I shrug. "Anything's fine with me. We usually get like ice cream and junk food when I go to sleepovers though." I say. "Ooo, okay! I'll get some chips and cookies and...What kind of ice cream do you like?" She asks. "My favorite's strawberry!" I reply. She nods and runs to grab two small containers of ice cream. I usually don't let people pay for me, and I feel bad when people buy things for me, but I feel strangely fine with this. Maybe it's because It's fun watching her shop, since her eyes light up at every little thing. Or maybe it's because I subconscious feel like she owes me for scaring me with the whole kidnapping. Either way, it's a good thing i'm not worrying too much. She runs up to me with two small containers of ice cream, two bags of chips, a package of oreos, and a slushie. "Is this good?" She asks. I smile. "It's great! You sure you can afford all this?" I ask, overly aware if the fact that she only had $30. She nods. "Yep! I could only afford one slushie though so I put blue AND red in it and I was hoping we could share!" she says. "Sounds good to me!" I respond. She checks out and we leave and start walking again. She's carrying the bag, and I have the slushie. Since we have no current conversation happening, unless you count her humming while she skips, I decide to ask her something I've been meaning to ask this whole time. "Um...so Tsuyu never liked me? That was all you?" I ask. "Hm? Oh, no, she did. The first few days was all her. I'm sorry I don't know where she is..." She trails off. "Oh, no, that's alright. I've just been wondering if she really liked me or not." I say. "Why? Is it a bad thing that she likes you? She's your girlfriend, right?" she asks. "...Well, I mean, yeah. She was. But If I plan on hanging out at the league with you for a while, I don't know how she'll feel when I come back, actually, I'm not even completely sure if we're still together right now. " I say. "mm. It sounds like you talk an awful lot about her feelings, huh? I wanna know how YOU feel about HER." she says, placing emphasis on the you and her. "Yknow...honestly? I don't know. I said yes to her confession because she's my best friend and I can't say no to her, I think I convinced myself I liked her, I really thought I did, but now? I'm not sure. Everything we've done as a 'couple' so far has just felt like she's still my best friend. I think i'm having a hard time thinking of her as anything but a best friend. I can't break her heart though." I vent, uncaring about the fact that i'm talking to someone that I literally decided to be friends with today. "Hm...Sounds hard. I don't know anything about relationships and stuff but it doesn't sound like you like her as anything more than your best friend. Sorry I couldn't help more. Now, c'mon, we gotta run inside before the ice cream melts!" she says. I didn't realize we were in front of the hideout again until she said that. She peaks her head through the door. "Looks like Mamagiri went to sleep! Let's go in!" She says. I nod and follow her in. She walks in and to the bar, placing the shopping bag on top and rummaging through it before pulling out the two containers of ice cream and putting them in the freezer. "The best part is, Mamagiri's room is in the basement so we probably won't wake him up! He'd be super cranky if we did!" She says. She grabs the bag, takes the slushie from my hand and drags me back up to her room, where she put on a movie.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We spent the whole night chatting and playing games after the movie. Most of the time though, we were laying on her bed next to each other, looking up at the ceiling, just talking and getting to know each other. Which is exactly what we were doing, until she fell asleep in the middle of my telling a story. We've already become close friends and i'm actually excited to stay with her, if this is what it'll be like. I look over at our snacks. The only snacks we have left are a bag of chips and half the package of oreos. I lay back and stare at the chipped paint of the ceiling, drowning myself in my thoughts, until I feel my eyelids get heavy and finally succumb to sleep.
