Elisa's POV
"See I knew my advice would work," Montana says, as we walk into school.

"What advice?" I ask, as we get to my locker. I open it up and start pushing my books into my bag.

"Well I told Kyle that maybe a nice licking would get you in high spirits," Montana says. "And I was right."

"Oh," I say.

"I said that he shouldn't pressure you to retaliate," she says. "And he didn't at the start right?"

I nod. "But then he said he was slowly falling in love with me," I murmur, feeling my cheeks turn red.

Montana giggles. "It's amazing right?"

"How did Chase say I love you?" I ask. I shut my locker and we walk down the hall to study hall.

"We were about to go at it," Montana says. "When I pull away and I say, I'm a virgin and I know you've been with other girls and I need to know that I'm not like them. He said I wasn't because he was actually in love with me."

I awe. "That's so romantic."

"Are you that girl?" Montana asks, as we sit down in the library. "Likes to be wooed?"

I nod. "Well I mean, every girl wants to be treated like a princess," I say.

Montana hums. "I guess."

"Hey ladies." I jump when someone pats me on the shoulder. I look up and see Luke chuckling. "Didn't mean to scare ya, E."

"All good," I whisper.

He sits in between Montana and I and starts tapping his fingers on the table. "You okay Luke?" Montana asks.

He sighs. "Can I ask you guys something?" We both nod. "Is it wrong to go after a girl in a relationship?"

"You mean Penelope?" Montana asks. He glares at her and my eyes widen in surprise.

"You like Penelope?" I ask him.

He looks down at his lap. "Well yeah, I mean I guess."

"Isn't she with Ricky?" I ask.

"Yeah she is," Montana says. "But before him Penelope and Luke sought of had a thing?"

"A thing?"

"We've had sex five times," he mutters.

"Five!?" Montana hell's. Luke flinches. "I only knew about three!"

Luke groans and clutches his head. "Well first was when I was sixteen and at a party. Both drunk and lost our virginity together. The next one was a year later just after she broke it off with Randy. She came over we talked and then we Uh had sex."

"Sober?" Montana asks.

He nods. "Yeah."

"And the third, fourth, fifth and sixth time?" I ask.

"Third one was when Brody walked in afterwards," Luke says. "Next one was the other party, drunk again. And the other two-" he trails off and we both raise an eyebrow at him. "I can't say," he says.

"It's okay," Montana says. "I'll just ask Penelope."

Luke glares at her again. "Fine. It was a month ago."

"Both of them?" I ask.

"You know how I was telling you about that party where I punched Ricky? And then how she was trying to call me?" Montana nods at Luke's question. "Well you and Chase were somewhere and she came over. Out of the blue actually," Luke chuckles. "I walked inside and she was sitting on the couch. She sees me stands up, we don't talk and just start you know, going at it."

"And the last time?" I ask, softly.

"Was at school," he whispers. "She was crying for some reason in the change rooms and I heard it from outside. I walk in and she cries her heart out to me. Randy had went off at her and had spoken to Ricky. About me."

"What about you?" Montana asks. This is way too interesting.

"Saying that she'll most likely leave him for me and stuff like that," Luke says. "We just sat there for a while hugging as she sobbed into my chest. It's when I realised I was-" he clears his throat and mumbles something.

"When you realised you loved her," Montana whispers.

"Fuck," he croaks. "It's not fair you know?"

I run his back and Montana grab his hand. "It's gonna be okay," Montana says. "You will be okay?"

Luke stands up and pats us both on the shoulder. "See you later."

He walks away

"I feel so bad for him," I whisper. "Doesn't Penelope know he's in love with her?"

Montana shrugs. "I don't wanna intrude, but maybe we could talk to her."

"Probably not the best idea, seeing she has a boyfriend," I say.

Montana hums. "It's Just Luke is one of my best friends and I hate seeing him this way."

"Yeah I know it sucks."
