The Struggle is Real

Escape

        Allison's POV

I swing my head up so fast it almost hits a wall. I could see shadows about 5 and then, I screamed.

"We thought you were dead!" I screamed as Andy, Jeremy, and Matthew appeared holding onto Rosemary and Aiden.

"Seriously?" Jeremy questioned.

"I was talking about poor Rosemary." I say. Savannah laughs and I see a little tear run down her cheek. Nathan and TJ came from opposite doors on the other sides and Zack came from next to Jeremy.

"We couldn't find Lawrence." TJ said too Andy. Andy nodded and then looked at me and Savannah, waiting in silence.

Savannah's voice cracked, "You guys neeed to help me get Rebecca out of here, she was stabbed." Everyone rushes over, and I stand up and take Savannah away.

"Let the boys do it." I grab Fiona's hand, and I see some pairs of eyes look down to her but I just shake them off. Nathan and Matthew hold Rebecca up and we go down the west side hall. I hold Fiona close to my side, and Rosemary by Savannah's. Fiona had her knife ready. I try to get her to get on my back but she refuses. Rosemary was crying silently, I could see a huge bruse on her left arm, but I don't think it was as severe as her other's were. The poor thing. She had a scar along her cheek. We go down the first hall with no problems, then we cross the hall and run into our first guard. We turn around, avoiding killing. He calls more and we just had to start shooting. Andy shoots 2 guys, I shoot one, and Savannah shoots one guy's arm completely off and he screams in pain. She covers her mouth and screams something that sounded alot like,

"SORRY!!! I'm SO SORRY!" I thought I heard her sob. We went down another hallway that a red exit sign pointed too. We ran into one more guard. This one was hidden behind a closet door. He grabbed Fiona and covered her mouth but I didn't notice right away and no one else did and he held her there until she must of bit him and screamed, cause we ran back but he already had his long knife out. I tried to get there in time, but it was to late. Blood. It wasn't Fiona's, but the guards, Fiona had killed him. She cried and stumbled back, I sit down and try to calm her. Everyone stops and then she leans back and starts breathing heavily.

"Fiona, what's the matter?"

"He hit me with his.. his knife... and it went through my tummy." I heard her whisper and then she closed her eyes. I picked her up, and she was unconcious.

"Please.... we have to get out of here." I say crying.

"Let's go." Andy said, but was blocked by guards the other way, he turned to the exit doors which were blocked by desks. Matthew and Jeremy ran to them and started pushing them. Savannah and I held our guns, but I had Fiona on my back. I easily was gonna get shot. A guard jumped in front of me, but I heard a gun shot, and I looked back. That kid, Zack had saved me. I smiled.

"Thank you." I say and I turn around and use one hand to try shooting, Reload quickly, Secure the chamber, Press the Trigger. A guy went down. I heard Andy scream to push the doors open, we all did at once and they opened. We ran out at once and gunshots came from all angles, I held Fiona's head close to my chest and looked to make sure everyone got out. I followed Andy, obviously and he led us through the woods until the gunshots died down. We all leaned against trees and secured Fiona and Rebecca.  We used the last of the first aid on them, Thank God no one else was hurt. They are barely alive, but still stable. I watched over Fiona constantly and Savannah over everyone else who was tramatized. Especially the ones who had to kill another human being.

3 months later

We're still ok, Rebecca's alive, she was shocked about what happened, and who Fiona was. She woke up a while ago. Fiona hasn't woken up yet. I don't understand... The cut wasn't that deep, and... it's been 3 months. We need more supplies, we've been living off tents and sleeping bags, and bells to alert us of walkers. I heard mumbling coming from Fiona's tent so I ran inside and saw her tossing and turning the first actual movement, I shake her, and her eyes open. I start crying out with joy thanking God.
