Chapter 3

Kairi still hadn't remembered what happened that night at the party. And Mattia thought it might be for the best that Kairi shouldn't know either.

The next day at school was pretty normal. Kairi and Mattia acted the same as always but, Kairi was way more happier this time. All the boys wondered what happened to make him this happy.  Mattia blushed at the thought of Kairi liking the time they had, but boy was he wrong.

Kairi pulled the boys to a side during lunch, a wide smile on his face, "So, I know you guys have been wondering why I'm so happy..well, that night at the party..." Kairi began to speak. Mattia felt his hands sweat, and face heat up, was he really gonna tell the boys about what happened between them?

"Before the beer pong game me and Alvaro played" wait what. "I met this really pretty girl named Emma, and we hit it off" Kairi smiled even wider at the thought of this so called EmMa. Mattia clenched his fists and looked down. Fuck why is this happening to me, of course he wouldn't like me. The boys congratulated Kairi for his win and called him 'the man'. "The best part is that she goes to this school" Kairi added, grabbing his phone and texting a contact he had opened. "I'll invite her for the next hang out we have,,,, which is today right, at your house Mattia"  Mattia didn't want to invite the girl he's competing with over to his house, but the look on Kairi's face was way too cute to ignore. "Uh, yeah, sure I guess." Mattia looked away as he felt the heat rise to his cheeks. "Thank chu Matti <3" Kairi went in for a hug to which the other guys awed at, making Mattia blush harder.

The bell rang for the next class, and Mattia didn't feel like going so he skipped. He was outside at the back of the school, punching the wall for being an idiot. Looking at his red fist in pain. He felt tears slowly fall down his cheeks. "Fucking pathetic" a voice behind Mattia said, he quickly turned around to see the figure in front of him. There stood.... Chase Hudson

"Fuck off Chase" Mattia wiped his tears off. "You think I don't know" chase pushed Mattia to the floor. "W-what?" Mattia was to weak and broken to stand up. "I see how you look at Kairi you fag" ☹️.... Mattia had enough for Chase and was about to go in and tackle him. But before he could do that Chase kicked him down placing his foot on his stomach while leaning closer to his ear. "Do you really think Emma isn't part of the plan." Mattia's eyes widen, the Italian boy couldn't believe what Lil Huddy had just said. "Emma is just my little spy taking off information from your dear Kairi, do you really think she likes him." Chase smirked and kicked at Mattia one more time, but this time Mattia grabbed hold of Chases leg, pushing him back throwing him on the floor.

"You lil shit, if you touch Kairi I swear I'll kill you." Mattia took hold on the helm of Chase's sweat shirt and punched him in the face. Mattia couldn't control himself anymore he found himself beating the shit out of Chase before Anthony stepped in and kicked Mattia in the chin, making Mattia come back to his senses. "What the fuck are you doing?!" Anthony held Mattia back and tried to calm him down. "Let me go! He deserves it!" Mattia looked down just to see Chase smirk and wipe the blood from his nose. "Just wait for it" Chase stood himself up laughing and walked away. "What's his deal?" Anthony pondered, still holding on to Mattia. Mattia glared at chase's figure as it left, "nothing... let me go Anthony"

Anthony let go of the mad teen and backed away. "You should go to the nurse, that's a very bad hit you got." Anthony pointed to his forehead while saying that. Mattia and Anthony walked to the nurse's office. Anthony dropped him off there and said his goodbye, he was gone for way too long.
"Woah Mattia are you alright" Mattia turned to the voice he recognized and sighed in relief at the sight of Alvaro. "Uh- yeah man, what're you doing here?" Mattia started casual talk with his friend. "Noen threw up in class and I offered to take him to the nurse" Both boys looked at Noen that had a bucket in one hand and the other waving hi to the Italian boy.

"So are you gonna tell me who you fought with this time" Alvaro looked at Mattia with a soft smile. He didn't want to pressure Mattia in telling him what happened, he really just wanted to know if he was alright. "Uh- it was Chase" Mattia groaned , saying his name was as annoying as seeing him. Alvaro scrunched up his nose, "why him?" Mattia looked at Alvaro for a second and laughed "I don't know man, bitch is crazy." All three boys giggled at the comment made by the tall boy before it fell silent again. Mattia was given an ice pack and some bandages for his injuries, he walked out of the nurse's office without saying any other word to his friend or Noen. He was too lost in thought with what Chase has told him earlier that day. The worst part is that Emma was coming over to his house today too. He doesn't know if he should trust Chase though- maybe it was just to screw up with his head. If Kairi is happy so is he... but he can't be so sure.
