Chapter 4

Alejandro stood at Mattia's doorstep. Knocking on the hard wood of his door. "Mattia I'm here!" He yelled trying to get the Italian boys attention. Hes been out there for a while now. Had Mattia fallen asleep? "Mattia hurry up. Its cold out here!" Ale shivered through the cold breeze. He's for sure going to beat Mattia up when he comes. Maybe there was a key under the doormat... Alejandro would do that with the spare key he had, maybe they didn't move it.

Ale looked under the doormat and grabbed the spare key that was left under it. "Thank god! Mattia, i'm coming to beat you up!" He opened the door to find a empty living room, oddly quiet. It was slowly turning dark and it was pretty spooky. "Mattia, this isn't funny where are you?" Ale looked around, he looked everywhere, but there was no sign of Mattia.

A loud thud on the front doorstep sent Ale screaming at the top of his lungs. It was Mattia, he was sprawled all over the floor. Alvaro told Ale about the fight between Chase and Mattia but did another fight happen after he went to the nurse. Mattia started to bleed from his cuts and thats when Ale jumped from where he was at and got the first aid kit. "What the he'll happened to you man!" Ale picked up the tall boy and laid him out on the couch. Mattia just groaned as a response.

Ale cleaned the cuts and took care of the bruises on his arms and face. Soon Mattia was much better. "Fucking Chase and his gang of lil shits" Mattia punched his wall and cursed at it. Ale just sat there listening to Mattia rant. "It's so fucking annoying because Chase's girlfriend, y'know Charli, her friends are spreading rumors about me and its gotten Charli's other 'boyfriends' to come at me" Mattia pulled his hair back and groaned, he hated this, he hated them.

"I don't understand how Noen likes Chase. He's so toxic!" Mattia kicked at his wall repeatedly until Ale spoke up and told him to calm down. They boys were coming, and Mattia knew Kairi was coming...with Emma. He still doesn't know if what Chase said was completely true but. He needed to keep a close eye on her. Mattia and Ale waited for the other guys, they watched a movie and prepared snacks to eat when the others came. They heard a knock at the door when they were making popcorn and Mattia opened it. His eyes furrowing and all stressed out until he saw the beautiful face he was yearning for all day.

There stood Kairi with a soft smile planted on his face. He lit up Mattia's mood, Kairi was just too cute and beautiful to even put to words. Mattia wanted to grab Kairi and kiss him, hug him, make him his. Mattia stared into Kairi's eyes, he was about to pull him into his arms and vent about how stupid Chase was and how.... From behind Kairi popped up a petite girl, around Kairi's height, she had dyed blonde streaks on her auburn hair. She smiled widely at Mattia. "Hi! I'm Emma you must be Mattia!" She stook out her hand for a handshake but Mattia just glared at her, grunting out a 'yeah hi' while walking back to the kitchen where Ale was.

Kairi frowned at the tall boys response in seeing the girl he brought over. Sure Mattia wasn't always open to new people, but he wasn't this rude to any of the other people others brought in before. "So Mattia whats up? Why do you habe so many bruises on you?" Kairi took off his jacket and sat on a chair. Mattia looked at Kairi, a small glimmer in his eyes that soon disapeared when Emma came and hugged Kairi from behind. "Just a dumb school fight" Mattia frowned and left the room. Ale was also confused, why hadn't Mattia told Kairi the truth about the fight he had with Chase?

Ale left the room as well, trailing after Mattia, kindly apologizing to the twi, telling them the fight left him in a grumpy mood. Soon Roshaun and Alvaro came over and began a conversation with Emma and Kairi. Ale and Mattia still out of sight.

"Mattia, can I come in?" Ale knocked on the familiar door frame. Most of his favorite memories were made inside of here, they loved hanging out as a group, it was always something new for them.

Mattia opened the door to his room, looking gloomy and dead. Ale didnt like this look on Mattia, he went in and sat on his bed. Ale looked up at Mattia and spoke "its about Kairi and Emma isn't it? It has to do with Chase doesn't it." Mattia looked in schocked at Alejandro, he already figured it out, but how?! Mattia sat down next to Ale and nodded his head. Ale side hugged Mattia, "i've seen how you looked at him for a long time" he said softly. "I understand why you're jealous but why is she so different from every other girl Kairi had talked to us about." Mattia told Ale the whole story, how they got drunk that night at the party, how he was the only one to remember. That Chase had a plan, but he doesnt know if he should believe it. And Ale being the good friend he is, stayed there and heard every single detail. They returned to the living room, Mattia smiling a lot more, he opened up to someone, and he really needed that.

"What took you guys so long?" Roshaun asked, downing the popcorn that was placed on a bowl earlier. "We were just chatting about some things" Ale smiled at Mattia and sat down, slapping Alvaros hand away from the candy that was being saved for the movie. Kairi looked at Mattia, what was going on? Mattia would always tell him first if anything was bothering him, not Alejandro. Kairi felt this heavy feeling in his chest, he didnt like this one bit. Why was Mattia opening up to Alejandro and not him. Did he do something wrong?

Emma wrapped her arm around Kairi bringing his attention back to her. He forced a smile on his face towards her and she grinned. She was beautiful, she was perfect. She has a beautiful smile and such pretty eyes. But somethinf was telling him this wasn't what he wanted. He ignored that feeling though.

Mattia sat next to Kairi, apologizing for his rudeness, he forced a smile towards Emma and said sorry too. They started to talk among each other. Alvaro suggested a game of truth or dare and everyone agreed.

They all made a circle and sat down on the floor, Kairi next to Emma, Mattia next to Kairi, Alejandro next to Mattia, Alvaro next to Alejandro and Roshaun next to Emma. And like this the game started.
