Dessert

Seulgi's POV

We are now planning about the event that will happen on sunday. When Irene, Joy and Jennie suddenly come in and we were stunned because we are almost caught planning.

"Hi guys what are talking about"  Irene said
"Oh uhm Yeri yes Yeri is going to propose to her girlfriend" i stutter in the process
"Then why is Sungjae is also here" Irene questioned.
"Me I'm now close with Yeri that's why she called me and asked for opinion." Sungjae said.
"What do you know about this things Yook Sungjae. If I didn't confess to you we won't be together because you are to shy to talk to me." Joy rolled her eyes and Sungjae just laughed.
"Oh Jennie is here you can meet my daughter she will also come today" yeri patted Jennie on her head Jennie just shyly nod to her
"Oh we have two kids today I'll be preparing dessert for today it's on me don't worry" I said
"Someone is trying to impress someone today" yeri blurted out
"Yes I also think that love is in the air" Sungjae said as he hugged Joy
"No PDA while at work just close the store first Sungjae let's all eat here today I'll prepare food for all of us"

I'm at my private kitchen cooking then someone suddenly tap me at my shoulder which make me jolt a little bit.

"Hi what are you cooking" Irene asked me
"Uh Steak, salad and tomato garlic pasta."
"I think it will be good"
"Don't expect to much it's just a basic food nothing special about it"
"No you're wrong there's something special about it" she said and looked at me.
"What is it"
"You are the one who told me about this it anything will taste good if you have a good company and good place to eat." She said it she remembers what I said so I smiled at her
"Oh you are correct"
then she did something that i didn't expect she leaned on my shoulder and said something that made me smile and flustered.
"And you made it of course it will taste good"
"You are really a big fan of my cooking Irene"
"Well to be honest there is something about your food that hits hard to my taste buds." She said as she lift her head and roam a little in my kitchen.
"Maybe it's my love for food. I want to tell them my journey in life and how food specifically desserts change everything in my life by tasting the food that I make"
"Oh so you have a story to tell through Food and desserts" Irene stop beside me and watch me cook again.

"To tell you the summary of my life uhm let me use the word dessert to sum it up. Because Desserts isn't what people think. that it's only sweet. Desserts are much more into it. It may need bitterness to emphasize the sweeter side of it. Just like in life you must taste the bitter side of things before you appreciate the sweet side of it"  as I said that she looked into my eyes and lean forward. I felt a pair of lips touching mine.
