Someone beside me

Seulgi's POV

My mind is cluttered I can't think straight. Is it the effect of Irene to me I know I told her to wait because I still want to explore more food and desserts that I want to add to my menu, and I don't want to neglect the relationship if we started to date this early.

"Hey boss so you have problem?" Sungjae asked
"I'm just lost in developing some new desserts  I can't think of a new way to improve or new dessert to explore and insert in our menu."
"How about aske you ask Irene for some recommendations I know that you know she is a food reviewer maybe she can help you with it."
"That's why I hired you. You can think fast in some kind of situation."
"I thought you hired me with based on my looks" I rolled my eyes to him
"Remember I'm not interested in men so why would I hire you based on your looks. Besides I hire people her based on thier skills not just for their looks."
"Yes I know I'm jus kidding" Sungjae laughed.
"By the way Yeri will take a week off. You will be managing the cafe for a week until Yeri comes back"
"Ok boss I won't let Yeri down."
"Why only Yeri how about me?"
"Oh she is much scarier than you when she is in her zone"
"You're right with that"
"Besides I know that you will be satisfied aslong as the guests are very happy"
"You know me to well Yook" he just smile and go back to his work

I have decided to call Irene to ask for help and recommendation for the menu.

On phone
"Hey Irene can I ask you a favor"
"Yes love what is it" oh my that pet name got me blushing.
"Uhm can you recommend some dessert or anything that can be added to our menu."
"Oh the great Seulgi is asking me for dessert why"
"Because I can't think of anything new or anything special about some dessert"
"I'll be there in a few minutes I'll just drop Jennie to my mom's place so that we can talk properly."

As the call ended I waited up a few minutes for Irene.
"Hi Seulgi sorry I'm late Jennie had a tantrum. She wants to go with me to see you."
"It's ok I'll just come with you later when you pick her up"
"Ok. So what do you want to know"
"Ok I'm now stucked in writing some recipes and development do you know anything that will help me?"
"What are the things that you are developing right now?"
"Different kinds and types of cake, Cookies, pies Icecream. And other stuff"
"How about just focus on one thing first." She suggested.
"Ok that's good start. But I want to try new things I feel that I'm just going around and around with the same thing with different flavor or variation."
"Maybe you should try something new and different. Let me ask you a question? Do you go out of your comfort zone in desserts?”
"Yes i go out of the box evry time I'm going to develop a new cake or cookies."
"No not like that. Do you remember the dessert that your Filipino friend give to you and you recreate it?" I just nod to her
"Then have you ever tried another local dessert from the Philippines?”
"No"
"That's the point seulgi you don't explore some more food and dessert from another country you are just stucked on doing things that you already knew and just doing some modifications to it. That is why you are stagnating right now." And to that I was enlightened.
"You are absolutely right Irene Thank you for that."
"You know what come with me"
"Huh why"
"Just follow me"
she stand up and pulled my hand and started to run. I think it's not bad to have a person beside me who will help me when I am down. I just want to have her beside me. But I'm afraid that if I don't have enough time to spend with her she might just leave me like the others did to me.
