Fear Wins

The End?

Lex Luthor- "How could you two imbeciles of all people let this B list villain win! and get me captured in the process!"

Batman- "Shut the hell up Lex!"

Sinestro- "Like i've always said you hero are useless, you present your self as saviors of the world and you do nothing more but cause more damage then the people you label as villains. if you were truly heros of this universe people like me wouldn't exist. And now look, you two "Heros" are bound to these restraints, no powers, no plans,nothing!"

Superman- "this pointless banter is getting us nowhere. and as much as i'd hate to admit it the 4 of us are going to have to work together to save ourselves and the world."

Just outside the cell where these heros and villains are being held you can hear loud fighting and screaming and then the door opens and Scarecrow tosses The Joker to ground right in front of the 4 , bound and tied, beaten to a bloody mess.

Scarecrow- "Enjoy your new guest guys!"

Batman- "Wait!"

and everyone sits there in awe that The Joker is the next loser in the Scarecrows conquest of worldy destruction. but before we can continue you on let's go back a bit and see how things unfolded and how these heros and villains ended up being overtook by the Scarecrow and his new team.

It was a normal night in Gotham. As the dark skies covered the city things were abnormally quiet tonight. Batman sits in front of his monitor in the batcave watching over the city for any threats.

Batman-" Alfred, could you get me something to eat, I might actually get thru a whole dinner tonight."

Alfred- "Certainly Master Bruce."

Over in Metropolis things are similar. Superman sits on a rooftop watching Lex Luthor work, while discussing dinner arrangements for later that night.

Superman- "Lobster sounds good for you, I think I can go for a nice thick steak."

Lois-"Sounds good, when can I except you."

Superman-"A few minutes I'm almost done here."

And out in deep space Sinestro in engaged in another battle with his longtime friend turned foe Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern.

Hal- "Stay out of my sector Sinestro and keep your Lanterns away, this is your last warning!"

Sinestro- "Your a fool if you think i'd ever take an order from you!"

While all these events are taking place, the Scarecrow sits in his lair, deep in the sewers under Gotham, thinking. He is tired of being looked at as a joke. The Batman doesn't fear him, other villains don't see him as a threat nor do any other hero's, and its always the same cycle. He loses to Batman, gets thrown in Arkham, escapes, then its back to square one. This time things are going to be different he tells himself. Maybe it's not Gotham he needs to take but the whole world! He thinks if he can takeover the world, that's Gotham included, 2 for 1. But how does a man of limited allies and resources begin? So he decided he needs to rob Gotham Federal Reserve, because Cash is king and in order to obtain the things he needs to enact his plan he'll need money.

Shortly after he arrives at the federal reserve, which is closed because it is after hours. He proceeds in setting off the silent alarms, moving quickly before GCPD arrives. Batman is home enjoying dinner when Alfred comes in the room.

Alfred- "Master Bruce I hate to interrupt but it appears as though you have jinxed yourself."

Batman-"Who is it now?"

Alfred-"Scarecrow sir, he is currently robbing Gotham Federal Reserve."

Batman- "Any robins avaliable?"

Alfred-"I'm Afraid not sir, Damien is off with the Titans in Japan, Jason is off the grid, and Tim is assisting Dick in Bludhaven."

Batman-"Ok. I'll be back."

Batman quickly heads out the cave heading towards Scarecrow. Scarecrow has just rounded up the last of the money and various jewelry from the safety deposit boxes when a batarang clocks Scarecrow in the head and knocks him off his balance.

Scarecrow- "Well if it isn't the bats, something told me you would show, but unfortunately I don't have time to play bat and mouse with you tonight."

Just then another voice comes out the background, "Maybe you have time for me then." Just then Red Hood Jason Todd jumps out from the shadows firing off both his guns in Scarecrows direction. Scarecrow quickly rolls out the way and counters by throwing 2 Fear Bombs at them. Batman quickly throw on his re-breather mask and tosses one to Jason.

Batman- "What are you doing here?"

Red Hood-" Sorry I got Alfred's message late. I wasn't going to come but i was bored."

Scarecrow takes his ax and takes a swing a Batman, with Batman jumping forward and kicking thru the staff of the ax breaking it. Jason pulls a batarang and throws it at Scarecrow and swiftly Scarecrow throws another Fear Bomb at the same time, which knocks the batarang off its course hitting Batman's utility belt and knocking him over. Batman quickly picks himself up and unbeknownst to him, he dropped the piece of Kryptonite that he keeps in his belt, just in case. Scarecrow however notices this and quickly swoops in and grabs it. Red Hood lets off a few more shots before Scarecrow leaps out the window. He sees GCPD arriving and he tosses one more fear bomb at the cops, disorienting them long enough for him to leave the scene.

Batman- "How could you let him get away!"
