Unholy Alliance

Scarecrow quickly arrives back at his hideout in the sewers. He's excited not so much for the money he obtained but the Kryptonite. This is a game changer. Batman would indeed be a sweet victory but Superman? Now that would make him the baddest of the bads. The villain over all villains. But the question is how? many have tried and all have failed. Superman is untouchable. But the Scarecrow reassures himself that he is a professor in psychology, and he is fear itself, and he will not be stopped! He decides that logically his best course of action would be to get in contact with Lex Luthor. If there's anyone who knows more about Krytonite then Superman, it's Lex Luthor.

Meanwhile back at the Batcave, Batman and Red Hood converse on what just happened.

Batman- "I had that handled."

Red Hood- "That why he got away. your the one who called for me remember?"

Batman- "Yeah to go so I wouldn't, but apparently you were too busy."

Alfred- "Gentlemen, I don't believe this is helping the situation."

Red Hood- "How about you get off your high horse Bruce and figure out why Scarecrow is out here taking part in petty theft."

Batman- "It doesn't make sense, that we can both agree on. that has to be more to this then meets the eye."

Alfred- "Sir the GCPD are holding a news conference. Apparently he took a little over 10 million combined in gold and money. Perhaps this was a bit more then petty."

Batman- "I'll be back, I have someone I need to speak with."

Red Hood- "I'm coming with you."

Batman- "No, Stay here. Wait for Dick & Tim. I'll Be back shortly."

Red Hood- "I don't take orders from you anymore Bruce!"

Just then Nightwing & Red Robin come in.

Nightwing- "Hey guys, missed me?"

As Batman and Red Hood get Nightwing & Red Robin All caught up, Scarecrow has just arrived in Metropolis. He sneaks into Lex Corp, unseen, and finds his way into Lex's office.

Lex- "Lena I don't have time for this pointless nonsense with you and your "Super" friends."

Scarecrow- "Hello Mr. Luthor, we need to talk."

Lex- "Lena, i'll call you back. Professor Crane, I would tell you to have a seat but I see you've made yourself at home, what can I do for you?"

Scarecrow- "How would you like to win?"

Lex- "Humor me."

Scarecrow- "What if i told you I Have a way we can finally eliminate our greatest foes, Batman and Superman."

Lex- "I'm Listening."

Scarecrow tosses the Kryptonite at Lex. 

Scarecrow- "I Have a plan but i'm gonna need your help. I know you know everything there is to know about that. I need to you tell me everything. I believe after examining this Kryptonite I might be able to reverse engineer this Kryptonite and combine it with my Fear Toxin."

Lex- "And what exactly do you plan to gain from this. Kryptonite at its base form is enough to weaken Superman."

Scarecrow- "Yes but imagine if you could not only take away his powers but also make him and every other human bow to your will thru fear. If im correct i can make the Kryptonite not only affect Superman but also regular humans like the Bat, and who ever else we want to control."

Lex- "Okay."

Scarecrow- "Okay?"

Lex- "Do I have to spell it out for you. okay yes i'll help, you can use my labs in the basement. But if were gonna do this we have to do it right. There cannot be any slip ups on our end because there will be no mistakes on their end."

Scarecrow- "Ill Get to work now."

The two shake hands and get to work. Lex took him to a part of the basement that Superman could not see them. Lex hears on the TV behind him that the GCPD are searching for Scarecrow for robbing the Federal Reserve. Lex notes that Scarecrow seems to have been busy. Scarecrow snickers, and continues working on the Krryptonite.

Batman heads to the roof top of the GCPD alone. He begins to speak to someone standing in the shadow.

Batman- "I need your help, I need you to find something out for me."

Catwoman- "Hey Selina how are you, I'm good Bruce how are you, I'm great, glad you asked!"

Batman- "How are you Selina?"

Catwoman- "Just tell me what you need, I have places to be."

Batman- "Scarecrow. Whats his aim? Why did he hit the reserve?"

Catwoman- "That I don't know but i'm pretty jealous, that should've been my score."

Batman- "Find Out, Ill be in touch."

Catwoman- "What makes you so...."

In mid sentence Catwoman realizes that shes talking to no one because Batman already left.
