Fear Wins

Twisted Minds Pt 1

As Scarecrow works along side Lex Luthor in this unholy alliance, Scarecrow begins to become frustrated because he can't seem to figure out exactly what he's doing wrong, especially having one of the greatest minds in the universe working along side him. The more he works the more he fails to do what he is envisioning. Lex on the other hand isn't much of a help with his name calling and belittling. Lex is a perfectionist, and even as smart as Scarecrow is he still has a certain hubris about him as to where he looks down at Scarecrow as someone far beneath his level of intelligence and certain not an equal. Scarecrow notes that the missing piece to this equation is a power source, but not one of conventional means. He recalls a time when he held a power source similar; when he was a yellow lantern. In his mind he knows this can work but Sinestro isn't the easiest person to reach. But he has Lex on his side, even if momentarily, so he decides to capitalize on this.

Scarecrow- "I know how we can make this work, but you need to do something for me Lex."

Lex Luthor- "We have been at this for hours now, how much more of my time could you possibly want to waste?"

Scarecrow- "You want this just as much as I do Lex, or do you not fear Superman? Is this not why your even apart of this."

Lex- *scoffs* "Don't be foolish, I fear Superman just as much as he fears me. What is it that you want and speak quick because i'm growing increasingly irritated with the sound of your voice."

Scarecrow- "Call Sinestro."

Lex- "Why?"

Scarecrow- "Because he has exactly what we need."

Lex-"Ok, we can revisit this tomorrow, and please go bathe yourself."

Lex sends for one of his drivers to come and take Scarecrow back to Gotham. As Scarecrow is heading out of Metropolis, unknown to him, he is spotted by Clark Kent coming out of a restaurant with Lois Lane. Clark only catches a glimpse of Scarecrow but he does memorize the plate.

Clark- "Lois honey I hate to be so abrupt but..."

Lois- "It's ok honey, go."

Clark quickly dashes into a near by alley and Superman emerges and fly's off headed towards Gotham. He arrives very shorty at Wayne Manor, to be greeted by Alfred. Alfred informs Superman that Batman is out but he's more then welcome to wait in the batcave where he'll be joined by Nightwing & Red Robin. Superman Agrees.
