Chapter 13: Conditions

"You make another clone with the memories she had. Then, it would be like she came back to life."

These words kept ringing on Richard's mind. Almost as though he would go crazy. But he knew he had to get ahold of himself. "What are you talking about?!" he screamed at Luna. "What I say is true, and it's the only way to bring her back to life." she said quietly. Silence filled the two up. Richard could not believe that there was a way to bring Rachel from the dead, especially that she was only a clone.

"How would I do it then?" he now tried to ask Luna as calmly as he possibly could. "If there's a way, then I got one shot at this. Failure would not be an option." he thought to himself as he waited for Luna's answer. "I'll give you another Cloning Stone," she said as she reached for her pockets. Richard was just about to get the stone immediately from the girl's hand, until she spoke, "Under one condition."

With this, Richard would have gotten angry and lose control over himself, "What the hell?! You were the one who caused her death! And bringing her back to life needs a condition?! You've got to be joking!"  This was what ran in his mind, but he knew better. He decided to control his temper and stay calm. "Fine. What's the condition?" he told Luna.

"She has to be a normal human." Luna said. "It would take a lot of concentration, and maybe energy as well. If she was an Magician, then she would be a very dangerous puppet of the principal." she said as she looked into Richard's eyes, seemingly reading his mind. "You and I both know that as long as it's a clone, he gets stronger. He can control them anytime he wishes. If Rachel would be a human, she would be much more easier to suppress. The others wouldn't need to hurt her." she explained. "So what's it gonna be?" she asked, her eyes showing that she wanted him to agree to her conditions.

"I accept the conditions."
