Chapter 11: Rachel In A Dangerous Situation

While Harry and Richard were busy having an argument, Rachel had wandered off after being asked to leave the two alone.

She had ventured off in many places in the Academy and slowly thought of what she should do in her current situation.

But fate hadn't made it easy for her.

Without her knowing, she had reached a place in the forest that was not familiar to her, and there, she saw Luna crying while holding a letter along with Melvin.

Although frightened of Melvin, Rachel chose to approach Luna and ask her about the reason she was crying.

But, even before she could fully approach the group, Luna had already spotted her.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!"

Luna shouted at Rachel, who was very surprised at how the girl reacted towards her presence.

And there, Rachel spotted clothes scattered on the ground. And a particular one was very familiar to her.

"I-is that-?" but before Rachel continued her question, Luna had already revealed the truth.

"It is her. So stay away from me!" Luna shouted.

"B-but, I won't hurt you. I would never hurt her too! You know that! I promised!" Rachel said, but Luna disagreed.

"Go ahead, Melvin."

Luna urged Melvin to do what he was supposed to do.

To steal Richard's clone. To steal Rachel.

"N-no! S-stay b-back!" Rachel said as she backed off a few steps but Melvin continued to approach her.

And soon enough, Melvin began to use his Magic on Rachel as well, slowly taking away the clone.

But Rachel had wanted to stay, and she did the only way she could think of.

Surround herself with Curse Magic.

She was able to do it for a while, but Melvin still continued to steal the clone.

And Rachel had slowly become weaker and weaker by the second.

Luckily, it was not long before Richard had suddenly come to the rescue and came between Melvin and Rachel. Richard was able to hold Melvin's attacks for a while, but Rachel could barely stand to escape.

Soon enough, Aaron had also come to help.

He was just about to help Richard in defending Rachel, instead, Richard shouted,

"Escape and take Rachel! Bring her to safety!"

and Aaron did as he was told, bringing Rachel along with him.

Aaron had taken Rachel to a secret room where he used his magic outside in order to prevent others from coming in.

He also added as protection Harry's magic which was given to him in a form of a stone. Cards sealed the door and windows, but Rachel was not happy with it. She tried to stand but was too weak to stand up for too long.

"I-I want to help Richard," the girl said before fainting.

With a sigh, Aaron decided to hide Rachel in Harry's room instead, since he figured that she might be more protected there.

Not so long has passed before Rachel regained consciousness in Harry's room. She quickly tried to stand up with all her might but quickly collapsed, wherein Harry quickly caught her and carried her to bed.
