Chapter 7: Bad Luna's End, Promise Kept.

"No way! I won't let you!" Rachel shouted.

"I refuse to let you stop her!" the older girl refused.

She had promised to protect and to not betray Good Luna, and she was not going to break that promise even if it would cost her, her very own life.

"But, Rachel!" Good Luna tried to disagree,

"No buts," Rachel told her as she let her back face Good Luna.

"Hop on. I'll help them as soon as I get you to a safe place," she said as she waited for Good Luna to hop on her back.

Making a decision wasn't so easy for Good Luna, since all around her was like a battlefield.

Bad Luna was fighting Noah.

Harry was battling a couple of students.

Melvin was trying hard to protect Natalia from the fight.

But all the while, Good Luna was being protected by Rachel and now was being asked to escape.

Soon, she had finally made her decision and it was to escape.

Good Luna hesitantly hopped on Rachel's back and nodded, signalling that she was agreeing to escape.

Rachel had started to run but easily noticed Good Luna's worries and stopped at her tracks and sat down on the ground.

"Rachel? What's wrong?" Good Luna asked.

"Go.....

Do what you have to do....

But please, promise me you'll come back safely." Rachel told Luna, and with a smile, the girl replied,

"I promise,"

as she ran off to help Noah and the others.

Being weakened by the fight, Bad Luna was easily knocked over by Good Luna, and with all her strength, Good Luna began to use the Stealing Stone to make Bad Luna disappear.

Watching this has been hard for Rachel, so she decided to heal Noah instead.

"I'm sorry, Rachel," Noah said weakly.

"It wasn't your fault. Now rest," she said as she started to heal the wounded boy.

In the midst of the fight, Melvin had already escaped with Natalia and the other students had already finished fighting.

While Rachel was healing Noah, a student said,

"Why are you being evil Rachel? You can't even stand to see Luna suffering."

And Rachel replied saying,

"That's because I keep my promises."

Rachel continued to heal the wounded Noah and was surprised when Harry suddenly gave her a pat on the shoulder.

"Time to go," he said and Rachel just shook her head.

"I have to wait for Luna. I'd rather have you take Noah back to his room. And take these as well," she said as she handed Harry two Healing Stones and a Teleportation Stone.

"Now, go." she said and she watched as they teleported away.

It was not long after that, that Luna had finished what she had to do and was also weakened by it.

"Luna!" Rachel panicked as she rushed to Luna and began to heal her.

Seeing that Rachel's hands were severely wounded as well, Luna refused to be healed but Rachel promised to heal herself after Luna.

But Rachel had used all of her stones in healing Luna instead,

"Meanie! Now how will you heal yourself?" Luna said worriedly.

"Don't worry, this is nothing." Rachel smiled and signalled for Luna to hop on her back and Luna had gladly done so.

But carrying Luna back to their room was not such an easy task with severely burnt hands. And while passing through the forest, Rachel was surprised to see another Luna, but an older one, and carried the younger Luna on her back.

"Uh..." Rachel unconsciously said.

"I am a clone. I'll take the two of you back to your room." the older Luna said and in a few moments, they were in Rachel's room once again.

"Rest." the clone said.

And without hesitation, Rachel closed her eyes and fell asleep.
