Richard accepted the conditions.
And in turn, he was given another Cloning Stone, then Luna immediately left.
He concentrated. He kept quiet. He tried to gather up all the memories of Rachel that he knew about. Everything. Her personality, which is different from his own. Her likes and dislikes, which he didn't pay too much attention to. Her friends in the Academy, which numbered quite a lot. And her love for Harry. It was the best Richard could do.
He needed more concentration, and he focused. Focused on his goal. His goal to bring back his sister, his clone. He began to think of her as a normal human being. A person without special powers. A person without magic. The more Richard concentrated on this, the more energy he lost. But, he had to keep on going. Rachel sacrificed much, and so did the other students. And now, it was his time to give a sacrifice, his energy.
The shape of a human began to form in front of him, and slowly features became clearer and clearer, until the clone was complete. The process had made Richard tired but he was able to keep his ground and stand. "Rachel?" he said in a soft voice. The clone opened her eyes and smiled. And with a hug she shouted with glee, "Richard! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Richard couldn't help but smile and return the hug. "You're welcome," he whispered. "Now, go!" he encouraged, "They're worried about you. Especially Harry." he managed to smile. And with a happy nod, Rachel dashed in search for Harry and her friends, while Richard went back to the dormitories to rest.
Rachel searched and searched and searched. She wandered around the Academy, went to the dormitories, looked in the classrooms, searched in the forest, but Harry seemed nowhere to be found. She was almost losing hope, but in the midst of her search, a lot of students had seen her and news spread fast in the Academy. The news eventually reached Harry's ears, and without them knowing, the two of them were searching for each other.
Rachel decided to rest for a while and had a little chat with some of her friends. When asked on what she was doing, she replied, "I'm looking for Harry. Did any of you happen to see him?" she asked. But all shook their heads. Rachel can't help but be dismayed until she heard a familiar voice shouting her name.
"Rachel! Rachel!"
She turned around and was glad with who she saw. Glad, to the point that tears began to form in her eyes. "Harry!" she said as she ran to meet him. They hugged each other. It seemed forever since they last saw each other and they missed each other. Their friends have left them alone for they knew it was the right thing to do at such a time.
"You idiot! You worried me!" Harry said while hugging her. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!" she said as tears streamed down her face. "It's alright. What's important is that you're already here. Safe and sound. And together with me." he said with a smile. "I... I was scared!!" she said, crying. "Hush." he said as he put his finger on her lips and wiped her tears. "There's nothing to worry about now. I'm here. It would be all just a distant memory."
"I love you, Rachel."
"I love you too, Harry."
And right then and there, they shared a kiss. Glad that they had another chance to be together. And to be with each other.
