Sometimes you would think about where you would be if you and Demi would've met. Like what would've happened if you didn't go into that store to hide from your ex.
Seeing her eyes meet yours filled your body panic, reaching for the nearest door you flew into a small store. Not even worried about what store it was. You took a deep breath as you watched your ex look around confused by your disappearance. You heard a chuckled from behind you and you finally tore your eyes away from the glass to look for the source of the angelic sound. Your eyes met a short, beautiful woman.
You rolled over and faced her, she was scrolling through instagram. "Do you think we would be together if I wouldn't of ran into that store?" She chuckled at the randomness of the question and set her phone down. She turned her head to face you. "Yes I do, you're my soulmate. One way or another, we would've met." She grabbed your hand and kissed the back of it. You smiled and kissed her nose. The two of you enjoying the time you had together. After a few moments of quiet you spoke up, "Did I ever tell you she tried to ask me about it a week after?" Demi shot up, "No!" She was pretending to be hurt, her hand over her heart. You followed her actions and sat up. "Yeah she dmed me on insta and asked why I ran from her." She laughed loudly, "Wasn't she a psycho who stole your money and then totaled your car and didn't even say sorry?" You laughed awkwardly at the memories of your terrible relationship. "Yeah. She was, an interesting human being." Your phone buzzed and you look at the notification. Rolling your eyes you spoke, "Speak of the devil, she made another account to text me off of. I'm about to get a restraining order." Demi snatched your phone and typed angrily for a few minutes. Feeling happy with her response she hit send and handed your phone back to you, got off the bed and walked into the bathroom. You looked over the message and your eyes grew wide, "Demetria!" You scrolled down further and saw the image she attached. "Demi you did not send her the picture I took of your head between my legs!" She yelled back from the bathroom, "Oh but I did!" You don't know what led you into that store, but you're glad it did. Sliding off the bed you snuck up behind her and wrapped your arms around her waist. She leaned back against you as she brushed her teeth. She was you're soulmate.
