When your heart breaks, the part of you brain that identifies physical pain activates. Even though you didn't cut or break any part of your body, your brain thinks and feels that you are currently suffering. Your whole body feels like a huge weight, which you have to carry everywhere. All you wanna do is lay down and look at the ceiling.
You are withdrawing the drug that you are addicted to, you are away from the person you are in love to. Just like chocolate and meth, the person you love is something that you need in order to live. You feel a huge void if that person is not around anymore, cause you got used to him or her in your life. Having to break a cycle of love and losing contact to the person you know. The person you recognize but out of nowhere that person decided to end your relationship, that's when you can't recognize him or her anymore. You are wondering where is the person that helped me when I needed or the person I talked to every night. The person that swore that you were the love of his or her life. A tiny part of your heart is profoundly wounded, it is swollen and your heartbeat is altered. Therefore you feel slow and basically like you are going to die.
The stress part of your brain is more active than ever, probably because you overthink so much. You try to find an explanation to all of it. Try to find a way to get that person back, the person you know and love. But the actual healthy thing to do is just cut any relation you have to him or her, never call again, disconnect completely and focus on you.
