What are Friends for?

Chapter 12

"No. No. No. Stop it. I. Said. Stop." I growl giving up and scared at the fact that I'm talking to a book. I turn away from the book shelf and scan my new room. London. I walk to my balcony, looking out at this new amazing place I now call my home.

"Nickie?" Jason says my name lightly knocking on my door.

"come in." I miss my girls.

"hey sis, so I was thinking I could show you around in a little bit?" It's official. This is what shall be my home. Might as well.

"Sure." I smile at him and look back at the view.

"great! I'll see you downstairs in 10 minutes!" He says exiting my room. Let's do this.

I grabbed my jacket, phone, and purse before leaving my room and running down the stairs.

"Jason! Let's go!" I yelled to him after some time of waiting on his female side to get ready. "okay, I swear if your not down here in the next two minutes I'm leaving without you." what is taking him so long? Just then I heard his footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Jesus, you take forever." I say opening the door.

"well, my dear sister in my defense perfection takes time." he smiles at me coming out the door after me. Pshh that's funny.

°*2 long hours later.*°

"Jason, I tap out. I don't think it's normal to sweat this much." I breathe out sitting on the nearest bench trying to catch my breath.

"oh c'mon Nickie. It's not that bad. Okay I have one more surprise for you." He says smiling at me before crouching down in front of me. "piggyback ride?" I look up at him and hop on his back.

A few minutes later he told me to close my eyes, I hesitantly do so. I start to smell the sweet scent of coffee before I try peeking Jason sets me down and puts his hands on my shoulders.

"okay. I know you'll like this. Open your eyes." He says calmly but I can hear the excitement in his voice. I slowly open my eyes to the beautiful place. Starbucks.

"Oh my god.. It's a Starbucks." I say happy but instantly thinking of Shy and Luna. I really do miss them.

"and best part." Jason turns me around and right there is the house. Starbucks is literally right across the street from where I live. Yep. Shy be jelly. Kidding.

"let's go get coffee!" I say running into Starbucks with Jason laughing not far behind. After we order we go sit down at a table with our cinnamon rolls and drinks.

"So what did you think?" Jason asks taking a sip of his liquid awesomeness (in Shys words) that I ordered him.

"pretty, and amazing." I say taking a sip from mine and looking at him to find him smiling and looking behind me before I could ask my vision goes dark.

"What's going on?!" I start to panic before someone whispers in my ear.

"miss me?" oh my god. I jump up and turn around looking at my two best friends standing there smiling at me.

"Luna, Shy! Oh my god I've missed you!" I tackle them both in a hug while Jason sits there laughing.

"okay! release me!" Shy yells laughing. "I need to now go find my love. Anyone wanna come with?" I smile at her and nod.

"let's go." At this point Jason bids his goodbye and walks back to the house. Although I have been here only a week and a half I am happier now that I have my girls. But I wonder how Mac is.

"how's Mac?" I ask grabbing my things.

"oh, your loverboy? well he's been total stalker status on you for the past week, have you talked to him?" Shy asks taking my drink.

"Not really." I say as we walk down the sidewalk.

"And why not? He misses you." Luna asks looking at me while I just look straight ahead of us.

"I'm not entirely sure." I say softly.

"Andrew, oh Andrew! Where are you? No! Not you Andrew! Who are you? I don't know you. Andr- dude! Back off!" Oh god, Shy. Luna and I stand there laughing as Shy calls for her love. Andrew Garfield. ah yep. I missed them.
