(Death Note) - L X Reader Oneshots #3

Wake Up!

(A/N): Some more wholesome stuff for you guys cause I love writing that sorta stuff. Yeah, this is a wholesome oneshot. I know the title sounds kind of triggering but I assure you it's not a deep oneshot. It's a cute, fluff one. Enjoy! Also, L is a neko in this story!

It was early. Way too early.

Not too early for L tho. He woke up just like that and sat up on the bed you shared with him.

He gazed down at you, his ears twitching, watching your sleeping face.

"Wake up, (Y/N)" he said to you, but you were still in a deep sleep that you didn't hear him speak to you.

"It's morning (Y/N). That means it's time to get up." L got on his hands and knees next to you, with his face above yours and his tail swaying slowly from side to side.

Still, he got no response from you.

He sat back up on his knees and folded his arms.

"She's not waking up..." he pouted.

He sat there in silence for a few minutes, just waiting for you to wake up but he was getting no luck.

"Hmph! If she won't wake up herself, then I'll have to wake her up myself!"

L then started to poke at your cheek, hoping that would wake you up.

Nope.

He tried ruffling your hair.

Still nothing.

He lightly hit your arm.

Nothing seemed to work.

"Please wake up (Y/N)..." L said, getting a little upset. His ears flopped down.

It was at that moment you shifted a little.

"(Y/N)?!" L asked, his ears flying back up and his eyes sparkling.

But, sadly, all you did was roll over to your other side so you were no longer facing L.

"..."

L slumped down.

"Maybe I can try and have some fun while (Y/N) is still asleep" he said to himself.

He looked around for something to do but couldn't find anything interesting.

He then saw you shift some more. He saw you move your hair out of your face.

"(Y/N) must get annoyed that her hair is always in her face..." L pointed out.

"Maybe I can do something about that."

L got up out of bed and walked over to your dressing table. There, he found your hair brush and some red ribbons.

"I've seen (Y/N) use these in her hair before. Let's see if I know how to use these..."

L walked back towards the bed and sat down next to you.

"Let me see what I can do here..."

L took a your hair in his hand and decided to braid it.

He wrapped your hair round and round before tying it in the red ribbon.

It took him some time and the braid turned out pretty messy as L had never done it before, but he sat back and admired his work.

"(Y/N) will like that" he smiled to himself.

He then jumped back off the bed and went to put the hair brush back but he ended up brushing against the curtains.
