New Years

New Years rolled around and Maya got ready for Ty's New Years party.

She drove to his house a bit later than she intended, but no one seemed to care that she got there late.

Most of the group was there with a few of Ty's friends from his baseball team.

Ty had ordered food for the party.

"Hey," Ty said, smiling and hugging Maya when she got there.

"Hi," she smiled, hugging him back.

Maya joined the party and everyone played some board and card games. They played some music as they played all of this games.

Ty's parents were at another party. One of their friends had invited them, leaving Ty alone at home with his friends.

When midnight hit, Ty, Jack and a few of their friends set off the confetti in the house.

Maya didn't get home until 2:30 in the morning. Her parents were asleep when she got home.

She changed into her pajamas and went to bed.

Maya woke up near the afternoon in the morning. She was exhausted when she woke up.

She made herself breakfast and got coffee for her and her parents.

"Thanks," Cole said when Maya gave him and Sharon their coffee.

A few hours later, Nick Robinson, Maya's Jurassic World costar, picked her up to hang out for a bit.

"Hey," Maya said, smiling, when she got into the car.

"Hey!" Nick said. "I got milkshakes!"

"Oh, thanks!" Maya said.

"This is yours," Nick pointed at the slightly pink one as he began to drive again.

"Strawberry?" she asked.

"Uh - huh," he nodded.

"What did you get?" she asked.

"I got vanilla," he said. "Where do you want to go?"

"Um, let's go to..."

"Ummm," Nick began to think.

"Do you want to go to Santa Monica pier?" she asked.

"Yeah, sure," he said.

They hung out at the pier for some time. Ty joined them shortly after the got to the pier to hang out with them.
