I was walking along a dark path heading to the altar. All I saw was Luke who was standing at the altar with his white tuxedo on, with matching white dress pants. He was looking gorgeous as ever. He had a smile plastered on his face and his brilliant green eyes shining with joy. I, on the other hand, was wearing my bridal dress. It was a strapless gown, with a lace bodice. Luke couldn't take his eyes off me.

Looking at the people staring at me as I made my way to the altar, there I saw countless faces of people but I couldn't seem to recognize any of them. Their faces were blurred from my vision, their features completely distorted. When I turned to my papa and my mother, they were crying but there's something wrong with their tears. Studying closely what was wrong, I noticed that blood fell from their eyes.

Stopping in my tracks, the people started to stand up one by one and then they turned to face me. I felt my heartbeat getting faster and faster as I stared at the people around me. In front of me was a mob of people in wearing their most elegant suits and dresses but their clothes seemed to be destroyed. Turning my gaze to Luke, he was still looking at me with a smile plastered on his face. I returned his smile and tears started to fall from his eyes. His smiling face seemed to have turned from happy and delight to something mournful and distraught.

I wanted to run to him and comfort him but the people with distorted faces started to walk towards with. They were each calling my name with the most haunting chorus I've ever heard. Looking behind me, there was also a group of people approaching me slowly. I started to panic. When I returned my attention back to Luke, he was just standing in front of the altar crying. He looked so hopeless. Luke! I tried to call out to him. I wanted him to come to me but he seemed to be paralyzed and motionless. Luke! I cried out once more. Tears started falling down from my eyes staining my face with the black eyeliner I had on.

Luke what are you doing? I shouted again and again trying to make him come to me. I tried to run to him but the people around me were closer now. And the darkness around me started to consume everything in it path. Luke! Pleading once more for him to come to me but he seemed unwilling to come. He mouthed something to me but I couldn't hear what he was saying. What are you saying? Luke! As I recognize the three words he was saying to me, the people started to grab me. They were pulling on my arms and my feet. They were pulling me towards the exit and away from Luke.

Luke, help me! I cried out once more. But all he was saying to was I love you Sydney. I tried to struggle away from the faceless people around but failed miserably. Suddenly when we were under the threshold of the church that was slowly being engulfed by the darkness, a man in black stood beside Luke at the altar and pointed a gun at him. Wanting to know whom the man was, I tried to run back towards the altar but I was stopped on my tracks when deep gray eyes stared at me.

Hi Sydney, was all that he said to me. He pulled the safety on the gun and pointed directly at Luke's heart. No! Stop! I cried. But the man beside Luke smiled at me with his sardonic smile and as if in slow motion, he pulled the trigger releasing the one bullet that would destroy my whole world. Luke! No!

"Sydney! Sydney wake up!" My eyes blinked rapidly as I woke from a nightmare. Sweat dampened the clothes I was wearing and the cold covered my whole body. "Goodness Sydney. You were having a nightmare."

"That's what it was. It was so clear." I wiped the sweat on my forehead and breathe in and out to calm myself down.

"What was it about?"

"Mom, I don't want to talk about it. What time is it?" staring blankly to the ceiling, my mother Sarah hovered over me as she tried to pull me up from the bed.

"It's time for you to get ready honey. You're getting married today Sydney, remember?" I nodded my head and slowly stood up from the bed. Setting aside the awful nightmare, I followed my mother towards the en suite bathroom. She started the shower for me, adjusting it to the right temperature.
