The very next day, I found myself sitting in the backseat of Uncle Frank's old car. We are going to visit his old friend as planned.

It was only a short drive and we arrived at our destination, but why does the house seem familiar? — oh no! It was the Silver's!

"Uncle! You didn't tell me we're visiting a family of vampires!" I yelled.

"Oh, you know the Silver's? They were the friends I was talking about. Though they were vampires, they're vegetarians. Easy, Aidan, they're nice. Uncle Frank said.

" Honey, not every vampire is a monster, the Silver's are different, they are kind. I'm sure you're gonna like them." Aunt Leonora said, her voice is sweet.

"Can I bailout?" I said, sighing.

"Nah uh, were already here honey" Aunt Leonora smiled.

*sigh* I know the girl I almost hit with a stone lives here. It's embarrassing if she sees me.

….

A black car pulled up to their front gate. Her father was already standing by it to meet the guests.

A tall man, even taller than her Father steps out of the car. The man has broad shoulders and his body was very muscular. Louise doubts that the man could even best the werewolves she knew. A blonde woman followed, she's also tall and had a voluptuous and curvy body. The couple, together with her father talked merrily in the distance.

After a few moments, the gates creaked open and the black car pulled through. It drove around their manor and headed toward the area behind it, where the guest house was located.

Louise and her mother followed them around the manor.

The guest house was nothing compared to the manor next to it, but it wasn't a bad space on its own. It resembled a one-story house with a well-tended garden out front.

The tall muscular man and the voluptuous blonde woman stepped out of the car, followed by a teenager. The youth was about her age.

Something about him caught Louise's attention. She studied every inch of him. Black hair. It stuck out to Louise more than anything. The texture. The thickness.

The kid looked at Louise. His expression was bland.

Louise narrowed her eyes at him.

He remained bland.

Louise crossed her arms. A smirk formed across her lips, "It's him."

"Hmm?" Louise's mother tilted her head. "Do you know him, honey?"

She wondered what would be their reaction if she mentioned their kid had been in that mob. The one that threw rocks at their manor. At her!

And then, another thought drifted into her mind.

Louise's smirk grew wicked. "Why, yes. I think I do."

These fellas have a pretty nice house, it's much better than when I'm outside throwing bricks. I wonder how they make their money.

Paintings and antique furniture filled the manor's ornate halls. I must have spotted at least a dozen vases during my walk through it. Everything was perfectly clean, though I didn't actually see any servants.

It was Sunday, maybe it was their day-off?

"Hello" a sweet melodious voice emanated behind me.

I turned my head to see a familiar face.

Oh, this is awkward, it turns out that she's the one standing atop the balcony at the night when I joined the mob to throw bricks at her home. I believed her name was Louise, of the Silver family. Her pale skin and clothes gave her an eerie vibe, but she looked beautiful nonetheless. She has sparkling hazel eyes, her ebony hair draped behind her back reaching below her waist like a cape. A perfect delicate face, she had long eyelashes, slender eyebrows, thin red lips, and a fine delicate nose.

I know she was a vampire but I don't see her fangs.

"Hello" I replied with a smile, though, awkwardly.

"And how are you today…Aidan, right?" She asked.

"Yeah." I tilted my head at her. Something about her tone felt off.

"Aidan, of course." She walked around me, looking me over from every angle. "And your family settling in okay, are they? Oh, and how about your lackeys?" Of course, I know what's the reason of her tone.

The way she looked at me makes my skin crawl, what is this girl thinking?

"What do you think?" I said, crossing my arms, my face turned dark. "Can I help you with something?"

"Oh... if it isn't too much trouble." She grinned at me. I felt something wicked behind those eyes. "I heard you are very good at martial arts, Mr.Miagi?, I have been looking for an instructor but I can't find any. I talked with Aunt Leonora already and she seems okay with it, even Uncle Frank agreed." Her smile grew more wicked while her eyes acted coyly.

"Excuse me?" I nearly scoffed at her. "What are you even talking about?"

"Of course, I could always tell them you were amongst that mob earlier." She scowled at me. "And with one of the ones throwing rocks to boot. I wonder what will your parents say, do they even know about it?"

*So she really knew I was there! This is messed up*

"Look, I'm sorry about the stone throwing thing, but I won't be teaching anything," I said, my arms crossed.

"I don't care." She whipped around and walked away. "You'll be starting tomorrow, after school. Normally I wouldn't come straight home right after school, but I think I'll make an exception." She looked over her shoulder. "You know, to make sure you're getting the hang of your new job."

"Job?! Who says I even need a job!" I yelled back.

Well, that sucked.
