You follow Billie Joe out towards the stage and stand at the side whilst he walks forwards towards the mic, with tré cool and Mike Dirnt following close behind.
As you watch him go, you notice tré cool give you a dirty look. "Huh, he must just not know who I am" you think as you look towards Billie Joe as he picks up the mic and starts singing:
"I sit around and watch the tube but, nothing's on
I change the channels for an hour or two
Twiddle my thumbs just for a bit
I'm sick of all the same old shit
In a house with unlocked doors
And I'm fuckin' lazy..."
You listen to the rest of the concert, marvelling at how good the band are. Before you know it, the last line of the final song is sung and Billie Joe is thanking the audience for coming.
"Thank you all so much for coming!" He says, waving at the crowd "now, before you go, i'd like you all to meet someone..." He looks towards you, and beckons you onto the stage.
You desperately shake your head, eager to avoid any embarrassment, but he doesn't give up. Eventually he runs towards you and pulls you onstage, and everyone claps.
"Billie Joe!" You exclaim "What are you doing?!"
He just gives you a grin as he turns towards the crowd, who are all still cheering.
"Everyone, before you go," He says into the mic "I'd like you all to meet y/n. My new girlfriend..?"
He says the last part a little unsurely, looking sideways at you. You stare at him, dumbfounded for a second or two, before nodding eagerly.
The crowd erupts into cheers and screams as the photographers at the front all clamour towards the stage, desperate to get a picture of you, whilst trying to fight the security pushing them away from the stage.
"Are they cheering... For me?" You ask, looking up at Billie Joe. He nods and hugs you.
You can't believe your luck! Billie Joe, lead singer of Green Day, wants you, an ordinary girl, to be his Extraordinary Girl.
You grin towards the crowd, happiest you've been in 18 years, but suddenly you feel something hard and thin hit the back of your head.
"y/n!!!" You hear Billie Joe say, before blacking out and falling to the floor.
