Connor's pov

"We just can't do that, my parents hate you, my friends hate you and they don't even know we're together." she said denying me to homecoming.

"How long do you expect this to be a secret? Do you expect me to be okay with lying to everyone about us leaving on Ricky, Andrea and Trevor knowing? I can't do that, We can't just hide forever."

"Connor, It's not forever. It's just a while.'' She said pushing her hands to my cheek "I'm sorry, I just want to warm them up to the idea of you."

"It's fine.''

"Okay good." She responded before kissing my cheek "Now go back home it's like 6 am.''

''We can't cuddle for a while?"

"I can't they could be up any minute and it's been months since they went on a business trip.'' She said.

"We've cuddled before..."

"I just can't risk it." She said walking me to the glass door that led outside. "Call me?''

"Yeah, sure."

I walked back to my bike immediately getting on it to get the hell out of there as fast as I could. Why did she care so much? She's my girlfriend she's suppose not care about what anyone thought of us together.

I stopped at a coffee shop and got a ice coffee and just sat down on my phone for a while doing nothing. My mind was on Bethany and her weird mood saying not to everything. I can get homecoming but cuddling?

How many times have we cuddled when her parents were home? But somethings different now. Nobody could know about us, I couldn't even kiss my girlfriend goodbye because she was so out of it, she could barely kiss my cheek.

"Hey Connor." A girl said from our school.

"Hey.... Ardean?"

"Arden." She corrected before pulling it off with a smile and sitting down "She what brings the oh so popular Connor Franta here at a small coffee place at 7 on a Saturday.''

''Nothing.''

''Well how's your day?" She asked.

''Just fine." I said "So amazing waking up with roses to give to my girlfriend asking her to homecoming, It was also amazing when she said no because she was going to 'warm up' her friends and family to the idea of me."

"So if you guys aren't going just make her jealous so she'll feel guilty and then tell people about you...'' She said in a 'duh' voice.

"Your pretty smart Arden.'' I responded "And you know what your also? My homecoming date. I'll pick you up at 6 and make your sophomore dreams come true.''

With that I left her looking back at me and jumped back onto my bike and drove to my house. See I normally wouldn't be asking a 15-16 year old to homecoming,, or anyone for that matter but she's the only person near me and she was practically begging for it.

When your with someone who'll actually wants to go out with you might as well just do it.

Bethany's pov

I grabbed my bag and drove over to the dress shop where I was meeting Andrea. I drove fastly through the streets ignoring the honks I was getting for drive 10 miles over. I was already late so I honestly couldn't care less.

"Hey." She said handing me a refresher as I walked in.

"Hey sorry I'm late." I responded pulling my glasses up.
