Bethany's pov
"Beth I couldn't just leave him alone!"
"Yes you could've Connor. You could've easily talked to him and not almost kill him." I retorted.
"He hurt you Beth! He fucking hurt and you expected me to do nothing about it? Well that's not how the cookie crumbles for me. You should be happy I didn't kill him."
I put my hand on my forehead, closed my eyes and sighed. "Listen I'm really not in the mode to have this conversation right now."
"Are you feeling okay?" Connor asked as if he could read my thoughts.
"To be completely honest with you, I feel like I'm going to puke all over you."
"Please don't."
"I make no promises." I laughed lightly.
"So does this mean we're cool?" He asked.
"I guess." He walked towards me and wrapped his arms around me.
"I'm sorry I beat him up." After we unlatched he looked at me.
"You look like you're going to pass out. Do you want something to eat?"
"Nah." I answered simply before we both walked back into the cafeteria.
"Let's ditch. You literally look like you're going to die."
"Okay." We both jump on Connor's bike and he drives us to his house. I wasn't really in the mood to argue with him because truthfully I did feel like shit.
"You two are home early." Dorota says as we walk into Connor's house.
"Beth doesn't feel good."
"Oh okay." She said before walking away.
We walked up to Connor's room and the second I sat down I felt the vile rising in my throat.
"Oh god," I said and ran to Connor's bathroom.
"Jesus Christ Beth. Are you pregnant or something?"
"No dumbass." I said jokingly.
We walked back over to his room and I layed down on his bed along with him. i just closed my eyes for a little bit to see if that would help me ease my stomach pain. I was almost asleep when I started shivering.
"Hey DiCaprio, do you want a sweatshirt." Connor teased. (Bc you know he was like in the shivering cold water in Titanic and Bella didn't get it and she said to explain in case people are stupid like her even though she prefers the term degenerate.)
"Actually yes."
Connor got up and walked into his closet which of course was a walk in. I heard him move some plastic hangers along his wooden rod that held up his jackets and shirts. I still hadn't opened my eyes when I felt something hit my legs.
"Here," Connor said walking up to me. "Let me do it." He wrapped the jacket around me and zipped it up.
"Do you need anything?"
"Sleep." I answered bluntly.
"I'll join you."
"Okay. But on one condition."
"And what would that be?" Connor asked.
"Be my cuddle buddy."
"Deal." He answered before we both fell asleep together for the second time this week.
_____
I woke up shivering yet sweating. God damn it I have the flu. Connor's arms were still around me, keeping his promise.
