3rd Person POV
In a room engulfed in silence, Nayeon found herself stirring awake to the rays of light peeking through the gap between the curtains. "Ouch, ouch, ouch... " She held her aching head and groaned.
She lifted her other hand to cast a shadow over her eyes, protecting them from the sun's morning beams. Once her vision began to clear, her gaze slowly wandered.
"Where am I?" She mumbled, unable to recognize the room she was in.
Suddenly, a soft snore entered her ear. Looking over to the side, she found a girl's head laid on the edge of the bed, sound asleep while sitting on the floor.
It took her a minute to realize who it was, but when she finally did, Nayeon's lips parted in shock. "Y/n?" She called.
Almost immediately, the said girl's body responded to her call as she slowly detached herself from the mattress. "Hm?" Y/n hummed, eyes still closed and clouded with sleep. She yawned while fixing her disheveled hair. "Is it time for morning training already?..."
Nayeon couldn't help but chuckle. "No, I don't think so?" Upon hearing her answer, Y/n's brain slowly came to realize that the voice her ears have been hearing wasn't the voice of her predecessor or mentor.
And when it finally hit her, it hit her like a ten-wheeler truck. Y/n's eyes shot open and fell on Nayeon's pale face. "You're awake!" She instantly stood up and held the latter's hand, worry lacing her movements. "How are you feeling?"
"My head hurts, but I'm fine. What happened?" Nayeon pulled herself up to sit.
"The bastard you fought yesterday threw poisonous gas at you. You passed out, so I brought you here to help you recover"
Her explanation made Nayeon sigh. "So that's why I feel like shit..." The bunny-like girl massaged her temple in an attempt to ease the pain in her head. "I can't believe that son of a bitch tried to kill me because his ass was too weak to put up a good fight! When I get my hands on that bastard, I'm gonna shove a spear down his throat. Mark my words..." Nayeon was fuming.
Y/n gulped nervously, feeling herself shrink in fear at the terrifying aura her guest was giving off. To think an angelic face like that could make such a sinister expression...
"Anyways," Nayeon leaned back on the headboard while looking around once more. "Where am I?"
"Oh, you're at my sister's house" And by sister, she means Taeyeon. Y/n didn't want to lie to her, but she had to keep her predecessor's identity a secret, so she hid the truth.
Nayeon nodded, glad that she had ended up in the care of a friend she could trust. If she wasn't so lucky, then she might've had to sleep in a creep's house without knowing.
She'd definitely freak out the moment she wakes up. Thankfully, it was Y/n who found her. Just as she was about to ask another question, the door opened and revealed Jieun. "Y/n, breakfast is– oh, you're awake"
Y/n stood on her feet and looked at Nayeon who was eyeing Jieun with curiosity. "This is also my sister, she isn't the one who owns the house but she's still my sister" She gestured at her mentor who had a brow lifted.
