Y/n L/n's POV

The constant movement from beside me jiggled the bed, pulling me out of my sleep when the warmth of my blanket was suddenly stolen from me. My eyelids lifted, gaze stuck on the ceiling I wake up to every morning.

I blinked, wondering how I got back to the academy. My memories from before my blackout seem to be hidden behind the fog in my mind.

Judging by how difficult it was for me to recall the incident that resulted to the pain all over my body, it would take a while for it to clear.

I held my aching head while pushing myself up, but when I found myself unable to move any further, it was only then when I realized something was holding me down.

I looked down, finally taking notice of the large bump hidden under my blanket and the pair of arms hugging my waist. My brows furrowed, cautiously lifting the blanket to peek at whatever was underneath.

My body jolted in surprsise when a bundle of dark hair greeted me, but my shock did not stop there.

My soul almost ascended when the girl sleeping next to me suddenly crawled out of the blanket and into the light, revealing her face.

Her presence brought a blush to my cheeks as I sucked in a shock breath. "S- San–"

"Snake, I know right?"

I was going to say Sana, but it looks like Tzuyu had another name for her. I moved my attention to the slim figure leaning on the wall next to the door, holding a cup of coffee.

Upon seeing her, I could feel myself relax under the stare of her usual bored eyes. I carefully removed Sana's arms around me while trying my best to avoid waking her up.

When I was free from her embrace, I sat up and turned to Tzuyu. "Did something happen to me? My body hurts, but I don't know why"

"Long story short, two smol little girlies came running inside the academy yesterday while carrying you and Seulgi. Since I was taking a stroll around the campus, I saw them and helped. We brought you to the infirmary and you've been unconscious until now"

"Smol little girlies? You mean DubChaeng?"

She nodded. "Your injuries were too severe for the nurse to fully heal, so you might have to endure that pain you're feeling for a couple more days"

"What about Seulgi?"

"That girl woke up this morning and attended classes. I don't know where she is right now though"

After telling me everything she knows, the fog in my brain slowly began to clear as the memories of what happened yesterday were brought to light.

"Thanks, Tzuyu. I remember what happened now" I massaged my temples, a surprisingly effective attempt to ease my headache. "We got attacked by some minotaurs and DubChaeng saved us"

"Minotaurs? You mean the one Chaeyoung was hunting down?"

"Yeah, but she never told me there were 3 of them" I sighed. If I had known there wasn't just one, I would've been more careful after we killed the first one. "Not that I blame her though. I'm glad they came to help"
