Two hours. Two fucking hours. That's how long we held this position for. Imagine how hard it is to balance yourself on a floating wooden plank where it's only held by a metal pike. Basically, we're balancing on a spinning top. We were told that this will help us improve our balance, stealth, and mental strength. But I call bullshit on that.

"Hofferson! Your board is moving too much. If it moves again, I'll add another thirty minutes." Night Fury yelled at me.

How sharp is this guy's eyes? One little inch of movement, his eyes cam immediately catch it. I swear, this guy's like part-hawk.

The two guys who are on my team are doing a hell of a great job. Theirs was completely still. Their boards aren't even moving at all. It was almost like they were standing on water without any ripples. Their eyes were closed, peace and tranquility present on their faces.

Heather and I are the only ones having trouble. Well, at least Heather was doing better than me. Every once in a while, she would flinch but it rarely happens.

Speaking of Heather, I haven't spoken to her since last time. After we were sent to our superiors, we were led to the training floor where they had the power to train them in any way possible. In that time, we were silent. It was really awkward. The most difficult part is that we will basically see other everyday. I don't know about Night Fury. But I'm sure he's probably going to sleeping in a tree whilst upside down, using his feet to grab the branch for support.

I wonder how the others are doing. I bet they experiencing the stress and pain as much as I am. Or much worse. I expect the former but it'll be fun to see their exhausted faces. Especially Shawn's.

I try to dodge another thrust from Mala, only for her sabre to poke me in the ass. I yelp out, as she chuckled quietly.

"Again!" She yell out.

Mala was pretty chill and offered us to "participate" in her game of fencing instead of training right away. Sure, she dominated all of us like we were newborn babies but it was still fun.

I thrust my sabre towards Mala, who easily dodges it. Swinging it one more time, Mala grabs the sabre by the blade then stabs me with hers.

I fall down to the ground, knocking my sabre mask off my face. That was dirty! I like it!

"Hey, that isn't part of the rules!" I remarked.

She just smirks and leans forward to offer a hand. She has the kindest and calmest face yet the way she fences was unpredictable and wild. She doesn't even use a mask!

"I said 'my game of fencing', didn't I?" She quipped, a British accent present in her voice. I take her hand as she helped me up. She flashes me a grin, her pearly whites twinkling. "Racquel Thorston, I have about a thousand moves ready in the my head. I doubt you could even parry one."

I scowled at her audacity, which is a word I recently learned, to tell me that. This woman dare to make fun of my skills?  Slowly, a grin formed on my face. I like that!

Without giving her time to dodge, I immediately thrust my sabre at her chest. She barely dodged it, but the look on her face was worth it.

"Impressive, Miss Thorston. But that's the closest you'll ever get into beating me." She said with a grin, which I reciprocated.

I hope training will be like this forever!
