She jumped, but right before she could say anything, she noticed the familiar face.

"Hey," I hope I didn't scare you.

"Hey, no worries, I wasn't scared," she tried acting cool.

"I was just wondering if you want to hang out with our group, you seem a bit lonely."

Valerie agreed to hang out with her group, and for the first time in forever, she had hope. Maybe she would make friends. As the girl guided her to their group she realized she didn't get to know Valerie's name.

"You know, I didn't get to introduce myself yet, you zoomed off earlier."

Valerie's clear white face began to redden. This girl helped her, and she didn't even bother to introduce herself.

"I'm sorry, as you probably have noticed I'm usually very shy. My name is Valerie, and I'm 16," Valerie just stared at the ground, she was too embarrassed to look at her.

"That's okay, I know how it could feel when you're on your own. My name is Fiona, and I'm also 16," she smiled.

She was beautiful her eyes sparkled as she spoke. Her wavy brunette hair swayed back and forth as she walked. She was just about the same height as Valerie. She was the definition of beautiful.

Surprisingly, Valerie looked like her twin. Valerie was tall, and she had long and wavy caramel coloured hair. As they both walked together talking and giggling, something about them said they would be great friends.

"Follow me, I'll introduce you to some friends."

Valerie who was still a bit shy just smiled and followed along.

"Valerie, meet Rivi and Frankie, guys meet Valerie. She's a new girl around here, she's super sweet."

Valerie smiled and waved.

"Soo, what do you all want to do?" Fiona asked.

Just then a slender, tall man came and made an announcement. He was the ideal definition of "creepy." He had a stick-like figure. He had tan skin and an extremely skinny face. His brows were caved in and he wore a wicked smile.

"Alriiiiight everyone, I'm Kevin, your moderator for camp. Happy to see you all!"

The crowd cheered. He hardly seemed happy. He seemed more annoyed as if he didn't want to do his job. Like he was being forced.

"We have big plans in store for this summer, who's excited?"

Just before the crowd was about to respond he interrupts,

"No need to answer that, I already know the response," he had an evil smirk on the side of his face.

"Since it's your first day, all we are going to do today is have a bonfire and roast marshmallows. Starting tomorrow, the real fun will begin."
