It was 10 am the next morning, Valerie had missed breakfast by one hour. She was super shocked by this, why didn't Rivi or Fiona wake her up?
She began to think that they may not want her in the group anymore. She left her room in search of her friends. She had no luck, she checked everywhere, even their cabins. Valerie eventually grew hopeless, she was about to give up. She was on her own, her friends had to be somewhere. Probably with Kevin.
She felt hopeless. She would never make new friends. She sat down and leaned on a big tree, just then her back fell inside. It was as if she leaned on a cushion. She fell on her back. It was sticky and humid in there. She leaned her hands on the ground to get up. As she lifted her hand's something sticky and slimy clung her fingers together.
"Ewww, eww, ew," her voice echoed through the hollow tree.
She tried to check the place out, but it was dark she couldn't see anything. She grabbed her phone out of her back pocket and switched on the flashlight. As she walked, she was eventually lead into an underground tunnel. She wondered why they hadn't locked the tunnel after themselves. Valerie followed the one-way passage until she was lead to a dead end. There was a sign on the wall that said:
"To enter Killer Training push the letter "K" into the wall.
Suddenly all the puzzle pieces were put together.
"K" stood for Kevin and also Killer. By now Valerie was certain, Kevin stole her friends. It was time for Valerie to be brave, it was time for her to save her friends. She pushed through the door doing everything she could to save her friends. As she walked through the tunnel, a ray of light peeked inside. It was coming to an end. She heard footsteps hitting the ground. She ran through the tunnel. Then she sees a lady, she quickly backs up. Her heart beating like a machine, droplets of sweat poured down her forehead. She had tight breathing. Valerie had no idea if the lady saw her or not. Then a voice echoed,
"Is anyone here?" Valerie kept quiet.
Hopefully, the lady wouldn't investigate. Her voice was similar to the one she heard that night speaking to Kevin. Valerie stopped walking and hid behind a large rock. She sat there for 5 minutes and when the footsteps slowly fade she picks up her paste and is eventually lead out of a tunnel. She was in a tall building with no windows. No one could possibly escape by climbing. Then she sees a large poster on the wall that read:
"Killer Training"
Valerie just stared. Speechless, she had only 2 goals-
1. Find her friends.
2. Escape.
With not a minute to spare she walks up to some iron gates, just like the ones she first saw when she entered only this time her friends were behind it, tied up trying to escape. She should have stopped then, but she kept going. Now she wouldn't give up, she was in it until the end.
She would never give up.
