Demi POV

"Bentley. Bring me your shoes bubba." I yell into his play room. He comes out with his sandals. I put them on and we leave.

"Mine." Bentley says grabbing something off the shelf.

"No Bentley. Put it away." He falls on his butt and starts to cry.

"Bentley!" I say standing him up considering we're in the middle of the store.

I hold on to his hand as we make our way through Whole Foods.

"Footies..." He says running to the fruit roll ups.

"Bentley..." I say following him.

"Whoa..." I hear someone says as Bentley runs into him. Bentley falls and stares at the tall figure. I pick him up at look up at him.

"Sorry." I say.

"It's okay..." He says playing with Bentley's hand. Bentley laughs and hides his face behind me cause he's shy.

"I'm Demi." I say.

"I'm Kaiser... Who's this little guy?" He says tickling Bentley.

"This is Bentley." I say trying to get him to look.

"What do you say?" I ask Bentley.

"Sowwy..." He says with his finger in his mouth.

"That's okay little man..." He says smiling. I smile at him.

"... Do you wanna go get coffee or something?" He asks.

"Now?"

"We'll I'll let you get your footies." He says in the way Bentley yelled it down the isle. I laugh and hesitate but nod.

"Okay." He smiles. I get Bentley his snacks along with a few other things I came her for, I get Bentley into the car and tell Kaiser I'll meet him at Starbucks down the street.

"What do you want bud?" I ask Bentley as we wait in line at Starbucks.

"Cookie!" He says pointing at the giant cookies they have.

"You haven't had lunch though..." I say to him.

He puts his thinking face on. "Mcdonnys." He says referring to McDonald's.

Kaiser laughs.

"Maybe on the way home." I order me a coffee and Bentley a cookie and a milk. Kaiser gets a coffee and we sit down.

We start talking just about random stuff.

"Mama..." I hear a whine. I turn and look at Bentley. He's trying to fit his cookie into the milk.

"Bubba it's not gonna fit." I say. His lip starts to quiver. "Okay okay." I say spoiling him.

I get a regular cup that his cookie can fit in and pour his milk in there.

"Tank you." He says taking a bite out of his cookie.

I turn back to Kaiser.

"So what about you?" I ask going back to the subject we were on. We were talking about jobs. He obviously knows me but I want to know about him.

"I'm an insurance agent. Have been for ten years."

"How old are you?" I ask.

"35."

"32." I say. He nods.

Then his phone rings.

"Hello... Hey sweetie. Yeah I'm on my way now... Love you too. Bye." He says. He hangs up.

"Who was that?" I ask curious.

"That was my daughter."

"You have a daughter?" He nods and shows me a picture on his phone. She's adorable. Blonde hair, brown eyes, dimples where she smiles.

"What's her name?"

"Avalynn. She's three."

"She's adorable." I say.

"Thanks." He says smiling. I hand him his phone back.

"I have to get going... Wanna do this again?" He asks nervous.

"Yeah sure." We swap numbers and I stay at Starbucks until Bentley finishes his cookie. Then we leave and head home.
