Abandoned

Telling Kaiser

"Hey baby." I say as Kaiser walks in that night with the two kids. I give Bentley and Avalynn a kiss on the cheek before they run off. I give Kaiser a kiss.

"I need to tell you something." I say pulling him into the living room and sitting down.

"What's up?" He asks concerned at my tone.

"There's something that I haven't told you and you probably won't be happy." I say.

"What?" He asks more worried now.

"When I was eighteen I got pregnant... With twins." His eyes widen. "I put them up for adoption. After that I went to rehab and then started my career back up. You know all that though." I say. He nods and sits back listening.

"They're fourteen now... And they're upstairs." I say.

"What!" He says siting up.

"There adoptive parents passed away two days ago in a car accident... I have custody now." I say. He doesn't say anything. "I know i should of told you but I didn't really know how you'd take it or if you would understand." He still doesn't say anything. "If you had the problems I did would you keep Avalynn knowing you couldn't give her the best?"

That got his attention.

"I don't know... I can't imagine my life without her." He says.

"And I can't imagine my life without Bentley. But when I was younger I couldn't do it." I say.

He sighs and takes my hand. "I understand where your coming from. I personally would never have been able to do that... But your not me and I respect your decision... What's their names?" He asks.

"Savanna and Aaron." I say.

"Will I be able to meet them?"

"Eventually. They're not in the talking mood. They don't like me much less getting to like you." I say.

"What did I do?" He says holding his hands up.

I laugh. "Aaron's easy to convince. Savanna's the stubborn one." I say.

He nods.

Savanna POV

After sitting in my room for awhile I soon have to go to the bathroom. I open the door and immediately run into Bentley and a little girl.

"Sava!" Bentley says hugging my legs. I bend down and give him a hug. Not his fault he was born from the devil. I was too...

"Hi." I say shaking the little girls hand.

"This Avalynn." Bentley says.

"Hi Avalynn. I like your name." I say.

"Thank you." She says with her finger in her mouth. Then I hear footsteps coming upstairs.

"Ava..." I hear a guy's voice say. I look up to see a pretty good looking guy.

I get up and go back into the room.

Kaiser POV

I just saw Savanna and she looks terrible. Not in a mean way... In an upsetting way. I pick up Ava and Bentley both and take them downstairs.

I sit them on their boosters on the kitchen table chairs and sit down in front of them starting dinner.

"They don't want anything." Demi says sitting down.

"They'll come along... They can't starve forever." she nods.
