Abandoned

First Visit

A week has passed since the trial and today is the first day Bentley spends with his dad. I'm with him and I brought Aaron along.. Not cause he wanted to but because Kaiser made him. Kaiser doesn't want us alone with Dylan and it was hard to get savanna to come so Aaron agreed too.

We pull up to the restaurant and I look back at Bentley all dressed up in the outfit he picked out. I spiked his hair for him and put him in his green vest, white button up shirt underneath, and jeans with his sandals. He's excited to spend time with his dad. Hopefully he doesn't remember him from their last altercation.

"Ready handsome?" I ask as he jumps out of the car.

He nods and goes to pull me inside. I lock the car and make sure Aarons behind us before going in. I see Dylan sitting at a table with a booster chair already at the table. I tell the waitress I'm with him and we go.

"Hey." He says standing up. Aaron ignores him and sit on the opposite side of the booth. I say hi and sit Bentley in the chair. He sits across from Aaron and I.

We order our drinks, tea for me, lemonade for Bentley, water for Dylan and Aaron.

I give Bentley the kids menu with crayons but he just wears it as a hat. "Cmon bud." I say taking it from him.

"Do you want Mac and cheese?" I ask pointing to the picture. He shakes his head no and points to the chicken tenders. "Okay. We'll get that." I say closing his thing. I finish looking and we order. The rest of lunch is silent aside from Bentley and Dylan. Aaron and I just watch. I hate to say it but he's not bad with Bentley. He actually shows interest which is something I was always scared that he wouldn't do.

Lunch ends and we walk out. I let Dylan put Bentley in his car seat and say bye. Aaron gets in the front and I stand outside my door waiting for him. He closes the door and walks over to me.

"So I wanted-"

"Don't." I say cutting him off. "Other than Bentley I don't wanna even look at you alright? I'm glad he has a liking to you and I really hope your doing this for him and not just because your a total dick."

"I am." He says.

".. Okay. Where do you wanna go next week?" I ask.

"Doesn't matter. Talk to Bent and let me know."

I nod.

"I guess I'll see you next Wednesday then." He says.

"Bye." I say getting into the car. I close the door and take a breathe. "Did you have fun?" I ask Bentley as I pull out. He hums letting me know he did. "Well I'm glad." I say smiling at him. I turn back to the road and my smile fades. I can feel Aaron looking at me but I have other shit on my mind now.

After seeing him with Bentley today it makes me feel like he's actually doing this for Bentley.

But it could also be an act.

He's so damn confusing...

So I have ideas...

Would anyone read another story of mine if 1)It was a different fan fiction topic as in not Demi but another celebrity or 2)An actual book and not fanfiction meaning all made up characters...
