Looking up at the person who called out "Belvisi!" you saw Belgium. She was a country you had met a few times, and you even hung out with her a bit. You two first met at the Belvisidan festival in the capital. You were both getting some popcorn from a 'Choco's Popped Corn' stand--the one with chocolate covered popcorn. She had recognized you as a personification almost immediately, and so you two chatted a bit and exchanged numbers. You then continued to meet her at the festival every year. She was one of your first country friends, but you hadn't seen her in a few decades.

"Nice to see you, Belvisida!" She gripped you into a tight hug.

"Hello, Belgium." You replied, a bit flustered at the moment.

"You seemed to be in a hurry," she released you from the hug, still holding onto your shoulders and examined you, "what's your next class?"

   "Advanced Dutch... why?" You asked.

"Oh! Still trying to improve in dutch? You know it's not that hard, you're just overthinking it!"

'Easy for you to say' you thought. While dutch may not be too hard, it was for you.

"I was heading that way too, my brothers in that class. The Netherlands, remember him? Abel?" She began to pull you along. "Me and my other brother joined Advanced Dutch just so he wouldn't be lonely."

You had met the Netherlands once in your entire existence. You didn't even know he was named 'Abel'. You met him when he burst into a trade deal between you and Belgium and he wasn't the nicest then.

"I suppose? The one who said the trade deal between us was 'financially un-smart'?" You asked as you remembered more about him.

"Yup! I know he may seem angry, and scary, and rude, and irritable...oh and don't forget snobby... but he's really nice once you get to know him!" She tried to convince you as you slowed to a halt in front of a door.

She turned the handle and dragged you inside. She pulled you through the desks towards two men sitting in the back.

"Hallo broeder! Dit is Belvisida!" She began speaking Dutch.

[Dutch: Hello brother/brothers, this is Belvisida]

"Hallo." The one one the left with blond hair slightly covering his eye (going off of luxembourg fan art) said.

"Hallo." The one with spiky hair, aka the Netherlands himself, said boredly.

"Oh! Dit klaslokaal heeft een geen Engelse regel!" Belgium turned to you. You understood the gist of what she said. 'No english? ...' You weren't the most comfortable speaking dutch.

[Dutch: This classroom has a no English rule!]

Belgium pulled you into the desks in front of the two boys. She turned her chair and you did too.

"Hoe was je dag broer?" Belgium began to chat away with Netherlands.

[Dutch: How was your day brother]

You began to look around. You saw a few different countries that you could recognize from flags on their clothing. There was Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten and Suriname. You never heard much about them and so you looked back at Belgium. She was still chatting away with the Netherlands, you glanced at Luxembourg and caught his eye.

"Hallo." He said. You just nodded. "Geen zin in nederlands?" You shook your head.

[Dutch: Not comfortable with dutch]

"Voulez-vous parler français ?" He said. "Ils n'ont jamais dit non français, seulement pas anglais." He gave a sly wink.

[French: Would you prefer french, they never said no french, only no english]

"Oui, Ce serait bien." You gave a small smile.

[French: Yes that would be nice]

"Broer! Wees niet slecht voor arme Belvisida!" Belgium gave Luxembourg a small smack to the arm. "Forresten, kalder mig Laura, kan ikke tro, at vi ikke er basis for fornavn endnu!"

[Dutch: Brother, don't be a bad influence on poor Belvisida, by the way, call me Laura, can't believe we're not first name basis yet!]

"Noem me dan Neckel[1]." Luxembourg said.

[Dutch: Call me Neckel then]

"Abel." Netherlands seemed bored out of his mind.

"Noem me dan Y/N." You muttered out a bit of dutch. Belgium squealed and hugged you.

[Dutch: Call me Y/N then]

The teacher walked in. He was a tall blond man with glasses and had a briefcase with him. He set the briefcase down.

"Hallo. Ik ben je leraar, de les is in sessier." He said as class began.

[Dutch: Hello, i am your teacher, class is in session

Other

1. I googled his name, it said Luz or Neckel. Luz is too close to 2p Germany for me so i went with Neckel.
