Immediately walking in it was like lunch hall all over again, so many nations! There was a big, oval table that everyone sat around, they all sat in front of their respective flags. Everyone was chatting and it was much neater than the lunch hall, but it was certainly just as noisy. Liechtenstein and Switzerland bid their farewells, walking over to their seats (they knew their seats by heart, no matter what time era or where, their seats never change). You walked around the table looking at each flag, looking for yours. You finally came to your own seat, right between America and Russia. Two superpower nations, both whom you have some minor beef with. America smiled at you, Russia did as well--his was a more sad smile.

The difference between America and Russia at this moment was sad, heartbreaking even. America was happy, his eyes sparkling and excited, like a kid in a candy shop. Russia seemed sad and broken, his eyes sunken and filled with pain, like a child living on the streets. As much as Russia hurt your grandfather you felt sorrow for him. It was a long time ago, maybe they've already made up?

Shaking your head, as if shaking the thoughts away, you pulled out the chair, sitting down.

"Aw, cool, dudette! We can sit together. It's so weird not sitting by an empty chair!" America bounced in his seat, seeming excited.

"Yes, that's nice." You replied, stoically as possible.

"Привет, Belvisida." Russia said, weakly and softly from your right side.

[Russian: Hello]

"Russia." You replied, not daring to meet eyes with him.

You and America chatted for a while, Russia joining in a few times--though he was quickly shut down by America. After a while staff began flooding in, standing around you all (your backs faced them). You saw some teachers you recognized, and a few you did not. The Principal and Vice Principal finally came in, the Principal sitting at the head of the table with the VP behind him. The Principal--Mr. Frank--waited for the nations to calm down and be quiet. Once silence was achieved he began speaking into the microphone in front of him.

"How was your first week back at World Academy?" His voice boomed throughout the room, he received cheers and 'great's from the crowd of countries.

"Wonderful! First things first, the science lab will be rebuilt by Monday, and class will resume. Cooking classes three and four have been burnt down and so those classes will merge with classes one and two." Gee, this school is a real hazard, huh?

"Our teacher from Ad. History two, Mrs. Karen, has retired. Ad. History two will merge with Ad. History one. We have a new lunch lady, Ms. Beatrice, give her a warm welcome!" Mr. Frank pointed to a sweet looking old lady with glasses, the woman smiled bashfully as the nations cheered and clapped for her--a few wolf whistles were thrown around, too.

"Oh stop it.." You could barely hear Ms. Beatrice's voice once the nations stopped cheering, then again the room was large and she was across the table from you.

"Anyways, our first semester has started off on a high note, so let's keep it that way. Onto more... important news." Mr. Frank's voice got grim as he finished his sentence, his facial expression hardened and his brows furrowed. Many nations were confused, you even heard some say things like 'what's going on?'

"We will have double the students starting next week." He said, seeming to hesitate about how to phrase this. That didn't seem too bad, more students- wait, already almost all the countries of the world were here, how could there be more? Unless it was...

"The 2ps will be joining World Academy."

(to the tune of 'Here Comes the Bride') Here comes the 2ps, here comes the 2ps~.
